imagine hermione coming out to you, and then admitting that she's always liked you

"hey y/n," hermione greets you. she didn't seem to be her normal self. she was quiet and fidgety.
"oh hey mione, what's up?" you ask her. you could obviously tell something was wrong, and you wanted to know what.
she takes a seat next to you. she doesn't look at you though, she just keeps her eyes on her lap. "can i talk to you for a minute?"
you furrow your brow and try to meet her eyes, but it doesn't work. "is something wrong?"
"not exactly, i just really need to tell you something and i don't know how you'll react," her voice is low and shaky. you were deeply concerned.
"mione, look at me," you start. she does, hesitantly. "i love you no matter what, you're one of my best friends. i'll always be here for you."
you put your hand on her thigh. she blushes and looks back down at her lap in an attempt to hide her rosy cheeks. her heart fluttered as she replayed your words in her head over and over again. she took a deep breath and began to speak.
"y/n, I'm bi. i've known that since first year. the reason i know that though is because of you. from the moment i laid eyes on you, i've been absolutely love-struck. you are the most beautiful and kind girl i have ever met. and i really, really like you."
you were silent. you didn't know what to say. of course, you liked her back, you just never expected her to return your feelings.
"i like you too. i really do. i have since first year when we met on the train. you are the most wonderful girl i have ever met. hermione granger, i am absolutely in love with you."
she looks up at you. her eyes were watery and her cheeks were pink. a smile crept onto her face. "can i kiss you?" she asks.
"please."
she leans in and places her lips on yours. immediately you could feel fireworks. she pulls away and looks you in your eyes.
"y/n l/n, i am absolutely in love with you too."
