I woke in my dorm with a pale face inches away from mine. I jumped up quickly. It was a boy. He had bleach blonde hair slicked back.

"Morning, Riddle" he sneared at me. " Who are you?" I gasped. "Malfoy, not that you need to know". I looked down at his Slytherin robes. What is a Slytherin doing in my dorm??!

He began rummaging around my dorm. I came to my senses. " GET OUT IF MY DORM!!" I yelled at him. He laughed " No" he replied calmly, "not before you show me where it is". " Where what is?" " don't play dumb with me"

He yanked open my desk drawers throwing things out as he scoured for whatever he wanted. Anger overtook me and I grabbed him by his tie and threw him out.

His face turned deep red. "Oh, you'll regret that Riddle" he scorned. With that he stormed out. I stood in shock, I was still in my striped pajamas, I knew I looked awful. I sat on the edge of my bed in confusion. What on earth had he been looking for?

Aimee knocked on my door and skipped in a massive grin on her face which quickly turned to a look of shock as she saw my books and belongings thrown on the floor and my drawers half open. " What in the bloody hell happened here??!!" She exclaimed. I explained what happened and she clenched her fists in anger

"God, I hate that Malfoy" she huffed angrily. "Are you going to tell a professor?" she asked "Absolutely not!" I exclaimed. It was my second day at Hogwarts, I wasn't going to get a reputation of being a tattle tale.

"Well hurry, I'll help tidy up, you get dressed. We have class soon" she said. I pulled on my hufflepuff uniform and tidied up the last of the mess before we hurried to class.

We had Charms first with Gryffindor, I was dreading it. The knot in my stomach grew tighter and tighter. I knew Harry Potter would be there.

Of course I had heard of the stories between him and my father. How he murdered Harry's parents. And then how he came back in first and second year. Everyone had.

I looked curiously at Aimee. "Why are you helping me?" I asked. She sighed " it sounds stupid but I don't feel you're bad, I feel like I can help you. And even if you are bad at the moment I feel like I can change that"

I smiled, not many people, actually wanted to help me, maybe this year wouldn't be too bad.
