Chapter 12- The maddness

A/N Hey everyone. Just so you all Know, This is the Last chapter. I decided to take part of the idea from @JDdabest. Please enjoy this final chapter. Also, this will have two different POVs to show her madness, so I hope you like it!

Third Person POV

Two years later

Sophie Voltori has been alone for 2 whole years. She has ruled the vampires unofficially for those years. Today is the day that she makes it official. Sophie looks at her sisters room and remembers that fateful day.

Flashback
Sophie looks around at what she has done. The room of dead body's. These people were her family. This is her home. What had she done. Sophie decided to not look at her fallen foes anymore, and choose to leave. She left the castle at night, fed, and went on her way. She traveled around the world for a whole year trying to get her siblings back. She visited each and every coven to see if they had a solution. No one knew the volturi were dead since she did not mention it, she just asked for a way to bring vampires back to life. For a whole year she went around searching, and punishing for crimes she found. Seeing as she had to make it seem the volturi were still there. Her travels brought her throughout the world, and she found some companions.

Jacqueline from the Amazon, Krishna from the Irish, Joshua the nomad, and Ben from the Southern wars. During her travels though, instead of just getting rid of threats she would kill covens for information. When word got out that the Volturi were gone, and Sophie was the only one left. Everyone just listened to her. No one was sure how she did it, but if she murdered an entire coven of powerful vampires, she was a force to be reckoned with. When she would kill a coven, word spread fast. She started being known as The Mad Queen. She was obsessed with bringing her siblings back, and would kill vampires if they did not have information she wanted. Everyone was Terrified of her. She gained people from covens with her travels. Some had gifts, some were smart, and some just did not want to die. After a year and a half she had 10 people in her coven, all who were loyal to her. And only her.

Flashback over

Throughout these years Sophie had slowly been going mad. But now she was completely insane. No one would dare test her power as she would make you regret it deeply. After her coven grew. She decided to make it official and become full Queen of Vampires. She sent invitations to all the covens, and sent her minions out to collect nomads. She wanted an audience. Little did she know, all these people were plotting against her. They decided that she would kill anyone who got in her way, and that is not ok. They all decided to kill her before she becomes queen. The plan was simple. Edward Cullen would read the minds of her guard, and if they would protect her, they would also die. He found that only Ben and Krishna would protect her fully. The rest were only there because they did not want to die. When all the vampires were in the hall, they would strike, and kill her. They would have to be careful though, as she can get through shields, and can control everyone.

Sophie's POV

I am in my corridors getting ready to become full Queen of Vampires. Alec is in one corner watching me, while Jane is getting me ready. She really isn't doing anything to me, but she is keeping me company. We talk for a while. Krishna comes in asking, "who are you talking to Sophie?"

I look at her like she is dumb, "them silly. My siblings. Alec is being Alec in the corner, and Jane is doing my hair."

Krishna Looks at me with pity, "Sophie, there is no one in this room but you and me." I look at her in disbelief. She dare contradicts me.

"No. You are wrong. I can't believe you would contradict me. I am going to be your queen. Jane and Alec agree with me don't you?" I look at them, and they nod. "So you must leave. One more comment about it and it will be the last on you have." I stand up and stare at her. She cowered back to the door.

"But it's true. There is no one in this room Sophie." That's it. I look at her in anger. She is on her knees then, and I walk up to her.

"You will never contradict me again!" I say and then snap her head off. I throw it across the room. There is no reason to clean it up. She is a traitor.

"You did the right thing Sophie, she has no right to contradict you. You are the queen, and you are the best." Jane Says to me. I look at her with tears in my eyes. My siblings are really the only ones who understand. I decide it is time to begin the ceremony. I walk to the Ceremonial hall to see everyone sitting down. I walk down the isle in my beautiful red dress, and stand in-front of everyone else. Jane and Alec are by my sides ready to rule with me.

Bella's POV

The past two years have been great for my family. Everyone was happy until we got the invitation to Sophie's Coronation. I don't believe she should be queen, but I would never say anything. Good thing everyone had the same thought, because we came up with a plan to kill her, and we all agreed. I started to shield everyone. Even though Edward says my powers don't stop hers, it makes me feel better. When she comes and stands in front of everyone, she looks left and right as if she is looking at someone for support, but no one is there.
"My dear Subjects. I am so happy you could all come today. Today is a special occasion. Me and my siblings will become the new rulers of the vampires." I look at Edward in shock. She said her Siblings, but we all know they are dead. Edward shakes his head as to say "don't say anything." I nod. The ceremony goes on for about another minute before our plan goes into action. Emmett gets up and grabs the one guard that will protect her. Everyone starts going crazy, except Sophie. She just stands there and continues her speech. It's like she does not even know we killed her coven mate.

"And now, can we all rise as I place the crowns on my siblings, then them place one on me." She gets up, and walks to a pillow with 1 crown on it. She grabs at the air, and walks to wear she was. "Will you, Jane Volturi, protect the vampire race, as long as you shall live." She pauses before she does the same thing to her right side. Then she kneels down, waits for 10 seconds before saying "I do" by this time, all the vampires who were protecting her are dead, and everyone is just staring at this interaction. Sophie stands up. Bows and says, "May I now pronounce you, the new queens and King of vampires. She says gesturing to the air beside her. Everyone looks stunned. They all knew she killed people to get her siblings back, but not that she literally went insane. She thinks her siblings are here, and has blocked everything else out. Emmett goes and kills her, and she does not resist. All she does when Emmett grabs her is say, "Alec, now is not the time for..." and Emmett kills her. We all feel bad, but need an explanation of what happened, so we look at Edward.

"About half a year ago, after one of her killings, she saw her sister and brother again. She thought it worked, and kept killing to keep them there. The was so focused on saving her siblings that she went insane. She hallucinated her siblings, and would ask them for advise at points. She would sometimes block out everything and everyone like she did today, and live in her perfect world with her siblings. Her life was miserable, and she was trying to just make it better." I look at her now decapitated body with pity. From what Edward told me, If a fight broke out two or more years ago, she would have saved me. Even if she did nothing, I still felt like I owed her my life. Emmett and Edward try to make me realize that we did her a favor as it is a terrible way to live a life if you have to pretend throughout it, but it still feels wrong killing her, but there is nothing we can do now............
