Chicago was a bad place. I had been planning on moving out of this hellhole.  Things have gotten worse ever since CtOS was installed. Your information could be revealed in the click of a button. But it's not just information that could be stolen. Bridges, traffic lights, sewers and many more can all be controlled. Just by a click of a button..

I can't even relax for a second because this town has gotten that dangerous. A very dangerous vigilante known as Adeline Pearce is loose, so that's another thing to add to my book of "Why you should leave this town immediately."

As I continue driving, I get the feeling someone is watching me. I shrug it off though. Probably another anxiety flare. When I finally arrive at my office building, I grab my documents and work files and head out.

I finally enter my boss's office. Her name is Ms. Lenla.

(Y/n): Hey Ms Lenla. Here are the work files and documents as you requested.

Ms Lenla: Oh thank you (Y/n). You know, you are my favorite employee.

(Y/n): Heh, thanks.

Turning my way to exit, Ms Lenla stops me.

Ms Lenla: Did I say you could leave?

(Y/n): Oh um, was there anything else you needed?

Ms Lenla: ~You silly.~

(Y/n): Uh...

She begin to pull me closer to her and take off my jacket and shirt, but I back away.

Ms Lenla: No no no. You leave this room and you can kiss your job goodbye.

(Y/n): But I-

Ms Lenla: No buts! ~except mine if you wa-

That's when it happened. Ms Lenla's phone must of electrocuted her. I noped out and went straight for my car and back home.

(Y/n): Ah, Home sweet home. Now to watch some TV. What the...

The lights and the TV must've shutdown. That must mean...Hacker. The TV came back to life and displayed a message.

TV: I'm always watching you (Y/n)..

(Y/n): The hell? Uh this is bad...

TV: You look so adorable when you're confused. You have nothing to fear.

(Y/n): Shit shit shit..

The TV dies down but the lights come back on. I have to leave. Leave right now. But just as I turn, Adeline is standing right at the entrance.

(Y/n): You! But...why me?

Adeline: Because (Y/n)...You are my soulmate. And mine alone.

(Y/n): I'M OUTTA HERE!

I tried to run but Adeline whipped out her baton and striked my leg. I fall to the ground and she crouches down.

Adeline: You can't outrun love you know.

(Y/n): My leg...fuck you..

Adeline: You better watch what you say to me. Because there are some punishments you don't wanna experience...

She flashed an evil smile. Now I'm stuck with her. And just her alone..
