A/N: I think this is an original AU idea in the Sander Sides fanfiction community. Baiscally its an AU in which Logan, Roman and Patton decied they want to learn how to ride a horse and Virgil is luckily or unluckily enough the one who had to teach them. And Remus and Roman aren't brothers. Remus is like 30 something and Romans like- 16. I do not know much about horse riding so if something is off please tell me. However, this is an AU so I can make things up too. But any information on horses would be awesome! 3.

I am saying this is an original idea. If you have seen that somebody else has written a Sander Sides AU revolving around riding horses, please do tell me. If possible, I would love for the person who tells me to leave a link to the story. Thanks for reading this! And I do not own Sander Sides or the characters in it.

T/W for any point in the story: Mention of past neglect towards horse (Will not be anything more than mentioned). I think thats it!

Roman watched as the horse was put into the animal trailer to be taken to the stables. The horse wasn't very fond of him and he wasn't fond of him either. But he knew that his dad had spent hours of his time just trying to get hold of the people who owned the horse. And just because his dad was rich, doesn't mean he would buy Roman another horse: even if he didn't like the horse he already had. Roman didn't understand why his dad was like that. His dad, Janus, was loaded.

He was a businessman, a millionaire some dare say. So Roman wasn't surprised when he got a majestic andalusian horse. It was a she, with a clean, snow coat and a shining white mane. But it had a personality of its own.Apparently she was to stay at the stables Roman would be training at rather than in her own private ones. And because she didn't want to walk to the stables, Janus had to hire a trailer-truck to take the horse to the stables. The only reason Romans horse had been sent to a less-expensive stable was because apparently there's a boy there who is a legend with horses. Janus' friend, Remus had recommended it after seeing his son help a horse bond with its human. And after Janus had met this boy for himself, he was fairly confident that it was possible.

But it would help if Roman would actually give the poor horse a name.He watched as Roman got into the taxi (taxi is a cab if you don't know) and it began to drive off.Janus just hoped that not just getting a private trainer and putting Roman in these stables would help Romans rather snobby attitude.

Patton laughed as his horse started sniffing at his hair. Patton's horse was an arabian horse, with a sandy-brown coat and a black mane. Patton was very lucky to have a horse. But it had been the sweet boy's dream to ride since he was young, and he had been saving up. Since he was thirteen, he had had a part time job at a bakery, putting back anything he earned and only taking some of it when his family needed food.

He didn't have a rich family, he barely ate some nights. But he was lucky that his school would provide free meals for Patton and his father. His father, Emile had a job as a therapist. But since Patton's mother had died, they had struggled horribly on money. There were some years where they couldn't even buy a birthday cake with how much they struggled, but the bakery always made a cake for Patton's birthday when he started working there and had let him take whatever was left of it when all the workers had a peice.

Patton had brought the horse at a cheap price, but he had fallen in love with him the moment he saw him. Patton had named him, Cisco after hearing the word said somewhere. Patton grabbed his rucsac and got onto his friendly horse. He knew how to ride his horse but was afraid to go past anything other than a fast trot. Emile gave the horse one last pet and said bye to his son once more, before watching as his son began to leave. The stables were only 5 minutes away from the house so the journey was fairly quick there.

But Emile still worried his son wouldn't be able to talk to the others there. Patton was very shy but just a bundle of joy once he came out of his shell. Emile just hoped that his boy Remus had told him about would be able to help Patton come out of his shell..

Logan was tapping his foot impatiently as he waited for his taxi to arrive. Logan's adoptive father, Remy watched his son's antics. Logan was different. His only interest was books as a child. Until his dad had dragged him to some sort of celebration and he saw some horses. Remy hadn't been hugely interested but watched as his sons' face lit up at the sight.

Logan watched as the horses did tricks, seemingly to a tune. Dancing. Remy never thought that dancing horses would be what made his son so happy, but seeing them was apparently incredible for the young boy. Ever since then he had always wanted a horse. But Logan just couldn't find the one he wanted. When he finally did, Logan was 14. The horse was an american saddlebred with a grey coat, spotted with white and a silver mane with a black streak half way through it.

Logan felt attached to the horse. He called her, Eclipse. However, she was Logan's only friend. Logan was very reserved and wasn't one for socialising unless it was necessary. And Logan had been nervous ever since Eclipse had been taken to the stables yesterday. So when the taxi (cab) pulled up, 10 minutes late, Logan wasn't sure whether to be furious or relieved. Logan wished Remy a good day before closing the taxi (cab) door and telling the driver to go.

Remy just hoped that Logan would finally make some friends and learn there's more things to do than read books, learn and ride horses.

Virgil had woken up early this morning and had wasted no time. Virgil and his older brother, Remus, lived right next to the stables, after all, somebody had to watch over the horses during the night. Virgil had to help the new riders today and show them around. He was nervous to say the least. He was out at the stables by 6am, just after the sun had risen and had decided to take his horse for a quick ride before anything else.

His horse, Harley, was a midnight black coated friesian horse with a black mane and a braid a quarter way through her mane. Harley was a rather timid horse and only trusted Virgil. She had been neglected for the first 5 years or her life before escaping, where Remus had eventually found the malnourished horse. She only trusted Virgil, even after 3 years.

But now she was over old enough to jump hurdles. Virgil had a specialty with horses that he had never believed anybody could have. And Virgil had horrible anxiety but was at peace with the creatures. Virgil just knew what a horse wanted. He knew if it was ill, if it was sad, if it wanted to go for a run, etc. Virgil came back after twenty minutes and he and Remus had spent an hour re-filling all the horses food and water. They had already set up the stables for the two new horses and had checked on the third one.

Apparently he was always nervous when without his human. But Virgil had got her sleep after sitting in there with her until one in the morning. Remus had carried Virgil to bed when he had fallen asleep with the beautiful horse's head on his lap. Remus did worry for Virgil however, he was rather timid. He was picked on at his school a lot. But he was lucky enough that it was the weekend. And Remus knew that these new-comers would be good for Virgil. How? Remus just knew these things. But Virgil was stubborn sometimes.

It would take more than a miracle for the boy to want to be friends with these strangers.Remus just hoped Virgil wouldn't push these boys away like he does with everyone else.
