[174] LOVE MYSELF- JIKOOK [COMPLETED]

Finale

Jimin and Taehyung were the best of friends. They eventually start dating because people told them that their friendship was too good to be true. They themselves wanted to give their friendship a new name. They enjoyed it, it was more fun now that they were in a relationship but then Jungkook joins their friend group and Taehyung could see Jimin spending more time with the younger boy. Taehhung got jealous, especially when two of his pursuers, who were also in their friend circle, comment on how Jimin and Jungkook were too close and that Taehyung should probably break up with the smaller

That night Taehyung comes home drunk. Jimin also had gotten home around the same time, later than usual. Apparently he had been hanging out with Jungkook. That only made Taehyung even more mad. He was trying so hard to not let others words get to him but Jimin wasn't making it any easier and soon they fight 

"Tae I'm allowed to have other friends okay?!" Jimin is angry and gets defensive when Taehyung argued about him not spending time with him,  his boyfriend 

"I'm not saying that… you know that very well…" Taehyung is tired "...please Jimin… do you want to break up with me or not? I can't continue this relationship knowing I'm in a one sided one… please let's end this before any of us gets drawn in deeper and gets hurt…" Taehyung sobs

Taehyung's words make Jimin upset. Jimin didn't want a break up. He was afraid he was going to lose Taehyung completely and he couldn't have that. 

"No! We are boyfriends…"

Taehyung chuckles interrupting Jimin "..are we?" The taller looks at him with much sadness and frustration "...we haven't done anything that qualifies us to be boyfriends… the maximum we have done is kiss…"

"What are you saying Tae?" Jimin interrupts Taehyung this time " ..you want sex? Is that what it is about… then fine.. let's do it!.." Jimin says knowing very well that Taehyung would never do that. He was so confident so that but he forgot that he was talking to a drunk, frustrated Taehyung - someone who could be capable of anything at the time 

Taehyung chuckles again "...you think I won't huh?" Taehyung says stalking towards Jimin before pulling him into their  bedroom "...let's consummate our relationship then… my boyfriend" Taehyung says already stripping Jimin's shirt off him  

The boy was paralyzed. He never thought Taehyung would do this to him. Taehyung forcefully kisses him and attacks his neck. Jimin burst out crying when he realized that he was no match against the taller man 

Taehyung pulls away when he hears the boy sob. His eyes widen when he realises what he was about to do. They both sit up and a second later they are both crying in two corners of that room. Their friendship, their relationship all gone that day. They both regretted how things between them ended up as

Jimin moved in with Jungkook. Jungkook could hear the smaller cry every night and it broke his heart. He loved Jimin the moment he had met him but that was also the day he came to know that Taehyung and the boy were dating and so he chose to be just a good friend to Jimin, but that ended up with them spending a lot of time together and of course Jungkook fell deeper in love with Jimin.

Jungkook knew what had happened, their whole friend circle did and he was upset that Taehyung started spending time with Yoongi and Hoseok. He knew how much those two were behind the boy. 

Taehyung looked like he was moving on and that pissed Jungkook off. At home he could hear Jimin crying and he blamed Taehyung for it. He didn't realize that Taehyung was hurting just as much as Jimin

Jungkook decides to have a conversation with the boy. That's when he realizes that both of them were equally responsible for the events that occurred and maybe he played a part in their break up. 

Jungkook had to talk to the boy. Had to talk to Jimin and find out if the boy actually liked him back. He was willing to help Jimin through anything, just to see the boy smile again

Jimin denies loving the boy, when Jungkook asked him if he loved him back. Jimin did love Jungkook but he was scared of himself. He didn't trust himself. He had been hurting Taehyung and didn't even realise it, he was scared to do the same to the younger boy

"...Everyone makes mistakes in their ignorance. That doesn't mean you are a bad person. It happens… you learn from it, forgive yourself and move on… learn to love yourself…" Jungkook says making Jimin sob harder "...and I will be with you through every step of the way…" Jungkook pulls the trembling boy into a hug "...let me be with you through every twist and turn that comes your way… I love you… I want to see you happy…"

Jungkook knows Jimin loves him back. It is pretty evident in the look in the smaller's eyes 

"I know you love me ...I'm not forcing you to be mine… but you have to love yourself first before loving anyone else… and I will make sure of that…"

Jungkook takes Jimin to a psychologist and goes with him to every session. It helps Jimin fight his inner conflicts and  self hate.

In the meantime, Jungkook takes Jimin out on multiple friendly dates to get to know each other more.

Jungkook just got home from work when he notices that the apartment was dark except for the light shining from the candle and when he enters the dining area, that's when he sees Jimin standing in a white flowy shirt and white shorts in between the lighted candles and rose petals 

Jungkook gulps - he can't deny  Jimin looked really hot, like a hot meal ready to be devoured

Jungkook walks up to Jimin when the boy gestures him to and Jimin suddenly hugs the taller 

"You have given me reasons to love myself…" Jungkook smiles seeing Jimin so happy "...thank you for being with me through every dark thought that crossed my mind...." Jimin pulls away from the hug as he wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck "...   now I can say with no hesitation that I love you and trust you with my whole heart"

Jungkook smiles as he looks into the smaller's eyes. The moment he has waited for, has finally come

"I love you Jungkook" Jimin says closing his eyes as he tiptoes

"I love you too Jimin" Jungkook says wrapping his arms around the smaller's waist, kissing Jimin passionately
