Sorrowful Birthday

It was Diana's 14th birthday. She woke up very excited about her birthday, but then she found out. Diana woke up, went to her parents and said ''Hi Mom and Dad! Today is a special day and you know why!'' Both her parents told Diana ''Who are you?'' Then Diana said ''I'm your daughter Diana.'' Her mother said ''We don't have a daughter named Diana.'' Diana's father replied with ''yes.'' Diana's father took drugs, then he lost his memory but Diana doesn't know yet. Diana went up to her room and checked her phone, but no one even sent her a message saying ''happy birthday Diana.'' Diana slammed the door and cried in pain. When Diana felt better, she grabbed her phone and searched ''Reasons to cause of memory loss, she read a lot of stuff to cause of memory loss, but the 2 things that came to her mind was ''taking drugs or lack of oxygen to the brain.'' So she decided to spy on her parents, she took her phone muted it, and captured her father drinking drugs and her mother was just sitting there on the couch.'' She ran up to her room and called the ambulance, after exactly 5 minutes the ambulance was there, she told them both my parents have memory loss, for my dad it's because I saw him taking drugs I even took a video of it on my phone. Then the guy on the ambulance asked ''and your mom?'' Diana said she only saw her mother sitting there doing nothing, but it's like they don't even know me.'' Then the guy said ''We know what memory loss is. How old are you?'' Diana replied with ''Well today is my birthday and I honestly feel sorrowful, but let's get back to the point, I just turned 14 this morning.'' The guy said ''okay, come with us to the hospital because we can't leave you alone here, and if you have any siblings bring them.'' Diana told him ''No I don't have any siblings.'' Then she rode the ambulance with her parents and stayed quiet the whole ride. Soon when they reached the hospital, she went to the room that her parents were in, her mother said ''Look! She's the spy that told us that she's our daughter.'' Diana's father said ''We don't even have a daughter.'' Then he burst out laughing. Then Diana cried and left the room. She sat alone, and cried the whole night and she couldn't sleep. A nurse sitting at the front desk saw her crying and said ''What's wrong sweetie? And where are your parents? Diana screamed to her face and told her ''I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT!'' and continued crying. The doc that was checking on her parents, told her your dad has memory loss becau- Diana said because of drugs, I know she said sadly and told the doc, ''And what about my mom?'' The doctor told her ''We still don't know about your mom, but as soon as we find out we will tell you, the guy on the ambulance told me you captured a video of your dad taking drugs? Can you show it to me?'' Diana showed him the video, then told him ''But if someone is taking drugs that means he or she goes to prison right?'' The doctor stood silent for about a minute or two, then said ''yes.'' Diana didn't eat or sleep for two whole days. The next day, the doctor told Diana, we know why your mother has memory loss, but you may not be able to hold your sadness. Diana said ''No tell me.'' The doctor told her ''Your mom has a lack of oxygen to the brain, that's what causes memory loss for some people.'' and when Diana heard the news... that's when she got depression and Social anxiety. Diana said ''But what how? I don't understand.'' The doctor told her ''You'll understand when you grow up.'' After, her Mother and Father felt better, the police went in, then before he entered the room, Diana said crying, ''Please don't take my father to prison please, he doesn't even remember me and I want him to remember me, please don't take him.'' The police told her ''I'm sorry sweet girl, but if someone takes drugs he/she has to go to prison, you'll still be able to visit him.'' Diana said ''HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO VISIT HIM, IF HE DOESN'T EVEN REMEMBER ME!'' then she cried again. The police told her, we have nurses and doctors, in prison he will get his medications there and then he'll be fine, just go to the bathroom and wipe your face. While Diana was in the bathroom, the police went in, Diana's father said ''Who are you?'' The police said ''I'm police Jack, and you're under arrest for taking drugs'' Diana's father said ''How am I under arrest? I'm a sick man.'' The police then took Diana's father to the police station, before he went to his cell, the police took him and asked him questions and they told him ''if you don't answer with the truth, you'll stay in jail your whole life. So then the police put on a lie detector, if it's green it means he's telling the truth if it's red then he's lying. Then the police asked him ''Did you really take drugs?'' He replied with ''No'' but then the lie detector turned red. The police said ''hmm it turned red you're lying SAY THE TRUTH!'' Diana's father said ''fine yes I take drugs.'' The police asked him ''How many times did you take drugs a day?'' Diana's father said ''1 time a day.'' The lie detector turned red again, The police said ''SAY THE FREAKING TRUTH OR YOU'LL LIVE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE HERE!'' Diana's father got scared so he said ''Fine fine, I took drugs only about 10-15 times a day.'' The lie detector turned green, the police said take him to get his mugshot. The lady taking the mugshot told him ''stand in the side, turn around.'' After he got his mugshot, the lady told him ''one last thing, what's your name?'' He told her ''What's a name?'' She said ''what do people call you?'' He made up a fake name and told her ''My name is Tommy Ross.'' She told him ''okay'' then she told the police ''take him to his cell.'' He went to his cell, his cellmate said ''Yo my name is Heath Oliver and i'm in prison for comitting murder, what yo in prison for mate?'' Diana's father said ''Nothing.'' Heath Oliver said ''Yooo wait hol' up no one in prison for nothin mate, c'mon tell me what your in here for?'' Diana's father said ''fine i'm Tommy Ross and i'm in here for drugs.'' Oliver said ''OOO mate yo you take drugs, shit WELL NOW IT'S TIME TO KILL YOU! Tommy screamed ''HELPPPPP HELPPPP'' but no one answered, and then Oliver choked Tommy to death, then gave him a needle to make it look like overdose and not that he killed him. Tommy passed away.'' Then Oliver saw a police, and told ''You where yo going, my cellmate Tommy here, he he passed away from overdose please take him away.'' ''I will miss you so much Tommy.'' Diana was still in the hospital, the doctor told her, Diana unfortunately, your mother has to stay here for the rest of her life, please call your aunt, she needs to come and pick you up. Diana said ''Okay, I'll call her.'' She called her and her aunt was on her way. The doc opened the tv and this is when Diana heard the news, the lady on the news said ''A new prisoner named Tommy Ross, this is the picture of him, it appears that he has passed away from drug overdose here is a picture to prove it. Diana told the doc ''CLOSE IT! I CAN'T STAND HEARING ANYTHING ELSE!'' Then her aunt came and picked her up, Diana stood depressed for the rest of her life and she wouldn't wanna go out, she even wore black to school and sat alone in school, She lived with her aunt for the rest of her life and her mother lived in the hospital for the rest of her life.
