Giyuu (POV)
It was early morning and Giyuu didn't have the slightest idea of what day it was. He decided to get up despite not being assigned to any missions today since it was what felt right to him and what he was used to at this point. It was sunny yet a bit cold but not a big bother. When he got up he realized he was alone in his estate. He then recalled your words last night.

Yesterday~
"I'm going on a mission tomorrow morning so I won't see you all day."

Present time~
Recalling your words he went to get dressed and didn't eat since he wasn't sure what to make anyways. He wore his haori over his uniform and went out the door along with his katana just in case something was bound to happen. He yawned as he went out the door and began walking around the headquarters. He noticed everyone was already awake and on about there days and he was silently grateful no one came to bother him. As he heard the pillars chatting among themselves. They noticed him but carried on with their conversations. Giyuu was walking along some trees but stopped in front of a slightly deep pond of water that if someone fell in backwards they could just sit up, he obviously wasn't going to try this. Or at least he didn't plan to.

Y/n (POV)
You had woken up early lying to Giyuu that you had a mission. Of course you weren't going to make him spend his special day alone but you had a feeling he was not aware of what day or month it even is. You got up feeling giddy for him since you highly doubted he would make another face beside his usual emotionless expression. Despite being quiet and hiding from him trying not to be obvious but you being the peculiar quiet and shy girl you are by also never showing emotions caught the attention of others.

"Good morning (y/n)! You seem rather happy toda-" Tanjiro sniffed out as he approached the hidden girl who caught the attention of the rest as you covered his mouth with your hand. You signaled him with an index finger to his mouth as he nodded despite blushing.

"I'm not supposed to be here" you said to him as you remained hidden staring towards a Giyuu who had suddenly appeared walking. He leaned in to peak at what you were watching. A few of the pillars seemed to have caught interest in what you and Tanjiro were up to so they began walking towards you both to pitch into the conversation.

"Why not?" He whispered as he hovered above you to peak at what you were looking at.

"Today is a special day, and I want to surprise someone" you whispered back. He hummed in reply,

"Who is this special day about?" He asked happily that you were talking a lot more today. You smiled but before she had the chance to tell him you noticed the others eyes on you. You didn't want people to know since it would be awkward for them to be with the pillars who rarely talk to him. You bit your lip as you turned away from everyone's direction to only let the people you and him were close to. You then leaned into Tanjiro's ear to whisper the event.

" It's Giyuu's birthday today, but don't tell anyone since you know how quiet and awkward he is." He beamed with excitement,

"Really? I didn't know, I'll be sure to congratulate him." He said as he smiled. You cleared your through trying your best to not be embarrassed if he rejected your offer.

" You, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Nezuko can join us if you'd like." He then smiled even wider,

"Really, that's very kind of you. We would love to join you!" You smiled as you appreciated him but you were both interrupted by a small voice.
