"Momma? When's papa coming home?" A small voice questions.

In the grass, your mother sat with a book in her hand. It was one you were quite familiar with. "The Chaos of Stars." It told the tale of a guardian who swore to protect the sky goddess from giant beasts who wanted her powers. The story was filled with adventures of the stars and how the Guardian loved the goddess with all his heart. He'd do anything for her, even if he couldn't reach her. It ended with the guardian sacrificing himself for the goddess and turned to stardust, joining her in the stars. With the news of his death, the goddess was so heartbroken that she too turned to stardust.

Looking up, your mother met you with a smile as she closes the book. You stood there in a white dress with golden flurries at the bottom.

"He should be home soon, (Y/n)," she replied before she repeated your name more than once.

"(Y/n)," Pieck brings you out of your thoughts. "We're here," she finishes, walking away.

Rubbing your temple, you stand up from the floor and follow the others off the boat. Your boots clicked on the wooden doc as you see the rumbling in the distance.

"There's not much time, we must start preparing the plane for takeoff," one of the Azumabito's stated.

However, you didn't follow as your purple eyes stare horrified at the scene heading towards you. Though you come to realize, you were the only person who was able to see the rumbling from such a distance. Especially since you all arrived late at night. The sound of the boat being pulled into the hanger finally brought you out of your trance. Taking a shaky breath, your feet lead you towards the plane.

"Ah, (y/n), lend a hand?" Jean asks, lifting up a barrel full of gas.

The males of the group were in charge of gathering what gas the hanger had to offer. Without a word you easily picked up a barrel for each arm. Riener watches as you walk by without breaking a sweat while he was covered in it. Coming up next to him, Connie nudged him out of the way.

"She'll out do you if you stand there," he states.

Nodding, he follows after the two. Once all the gas was by the plane's fuel tank. The boys, except you, took a breather after gathering all the barrels. Still on edge, you decided to take a walk around the outside of the hanger.

"(Y/n)?" Jean question, watching as you disappear from their line of view.

"Is she always this cold?" Riener asks.

Connie and Jean look at each other for a moment before Connie answers. "Ever since Eren returned, she's been on edge. I haven't seen her this... Scared isn't the word I wanna use but that's what her face says."

"There's something you should know about her, she isn't like us. Not even from this world," Jean adds.

"What do you mean?" Riener questions, standing up straight.

"She was sent here by the god Ymir and knows what's going to happen before it happens. Basically psychic," Connie finishes.

"I see... That's why she knew our names," Riener states.

Jean nods before taking off to the back of the hanger followed by Connie.

Breathing in the night's breeze, you could taste the fire from the rumbling. It made you nauseous, almost, but you kept your pace through the abandoned town. Coming to a stop, you check your surroundings. This is the place Hange would tell them, YOU, goodbye. Upset with yourself and the future events that were to take place, your hands balled up into fists. Before you realized it, blood trickled down your palms as it splashes onto the ground. It ran through the crevices of the concrete. Just like it will around the world if Eren isn't stopped. Silent footsteps come from behind you, they were quiet and light.
