"Tooru hurry up with the popcorn would ya?" You shouted from the living room where you and your other boyfriend, Akaashi lay on the floor, opposite sides of the table with a blanket over each of your shoulders. "Sorry, sorry, sorry! I was just too busy planning my winning strategy!" Oikawa came back in the room, bowl of popcorn in his hands, a smug grin on his face.
Akaashi only rolled his eyes in response. "As if. We all know I'm the smartest one here." You were quick to blabber out a few words of your own against him. Tooru sat himself down on another side of the table and picked his piece. The cat, the fucking cat.
Monopoly layed out on the table, popcorn also there, and 3 lovers. What the hell could go wrong?
It was decided by the dice that it would go, Akaashi, Oikawa, then you. Keiji rolled first, railroad. Bought. Oikawa next. Railroad. Rent. A string of curses erupted from Tooru's mouth. "We just started love, don't get so worked up." You giggled. You rolled next. Chance. Advance to the nearest railroad.
It continued with you all rolling dice between the three of you for about another hour. Tooru was paying rent to you or Keiji every three turns. But yet, he had a lot of the good properties in which mostly you were paying him back with. Keiji had possession over 2 of the orange, a railroad, all the pink, and ⅔ of the yellow properties. You had a green, a light blue, a railroad, and ⅔ of the red properties. While Tooru was being a little shit and had, the browns, park place, a light blue that you needed, a red you needed, an orange Keiji needed, 2 railroads, and two of your other green ones!
You rolled your dice. Boardwalk. Immediately, not two seconds later, Oikawa started begging you to trade with him. He wanted your boardwalk for his 2 greens and a railroad. "Y/n baby! Love of my life! My lover! Please spare me boardwalk and you can have your greens and another railroad!"
You thought about it and looked at where his piece was. If he traded you, you knew he was going to waste his money and put houses on his blues. But if he rolled, there was a very high chance that he would have to pay you a load of money, pay Keiji a handful, or go to jail.
Akaashi made eye contact with you, almost as he was thinking the same thing, and was trying to telepathically tell you to accept the trade. So, you did, you accepted his trade.
And your hunch was correct, Tooru immediately put three houses on each of his blue properties, leaving him with 237 dollars left. Perfect. But he still had some properties that both you and Akaashi needed. Keiji rolled his dice and bought his last yellow. He finished his move, put his elbows on the table, face in his hands, and stared directly at Tooru.
"I have an offer. Give me my orange property and I'll give you... 400 dollars. That's enough for another 2 houses yeah? And then all you need is hotels." He made it seem like Tooru could have gotten the win just like that, but it was a completely different story. But to Oikawa, all he heard was houses and his mind screamed win. "Deal!" He handed the orange property to Keiji and got 400 dollars in return.
He immediately gave them to you to put in the bank and put his fourth house on the two blue properties. He was still broke as shit.
The deals were set in stone as Oikawa had finally seen his predicament. While he was being giddy with his houses and counting his money to see how much he had. You and Keiji had bought houses of your own. As Oikawa did give you two your color sets. Now while you both may have only had a house on each, it still affected Oikawa greatly. All three of you were on the other side of the board from where the rest of his properties were. Except for the browns but that wouldn't do any good. But if he landed on one of your houses. He would need to sell something or make a deal with someone.
He rolled. Doubles, a four. Right on the second green you had. "130 dollars please." You held your hand out. Oikawa had just over 100 dollars left until he was dead. He rolled again and landed on chance. Make general repairs on all of your properties. Oikawa was quiet. He cursed and set up a deal. "Y/n baby, I'll give you all of the cards you need for your color sets, to have just enough to pay this shit off. I'm just waiting for Keiji to come and land on one of my properties."
"Give me a railroad and we have a deal." You smirked. He immediately nodded and handed you the properties while you gave him just enough money. He was still broke.
It went on with Oikawa selling and making trades without you or Keiji landing on his houses for another 15 minutes. Tooru was growing frustrated. And he had 1 house on each of his, only, two properties. He had 57 dollars. You had hotels on all your greens with the help of Akaashi landing on your greens. And just to Oikawa's luck. He landed on the first green, with doubles. He Sold houses and paid. Rolled again. Doubles, but a fucking two. He was on your green again.
He hit his hand on a table as you and Keiji laughed your asses off. "I'm done I'm fucking done!" He got up from his spot on the floor and walked upstairs, "I'm taking a shower you guys win!" He yelled through the house. As you and Keiji finally recovered, you cleaned up the mess. And walked upstairs hand in hand to meet up with your guys' pouty boyfriend who was in the shower. "What happened to your winning strat love?" You asked him as you slid in the shower with him along with Akaashi. He pouted and put his face in your now wet hair. "Shut up."
