Jaemin and Kyungmi watched TV in a comfortable silence as the last few hours passed, waiting for Jaemin's soulmate to appear.

After about another 3 hours, a knock was heard on the door, making Jaemin, Kyungmi, and Buddy jolt their heads up.

"I think that's her." Jaemin said and rushed to the door while being followed by Buddy.

He opened the door in one swift motion and sure enough, there stood the gorgeous Jiyeon, slight sweat on her face and clearly tired expression. In her hand, she held a coffee cup that contained Jaemin's name and he looked at her with a smile.

"Hi?" She said as she realized Jaemin had been staring at her for a good while, making her just the slightest bit uncomfortable.

"Oh um, hey. Come in." He said and stepped aside, allowing the girl to walk inside the house.

There, she made eye contact with Kyungmi who shot her a smile and wave. It was a nice gesture but fury filled inside Jiyeon's body, thinking to herself 'I knew no guy was fucking perfect.'

"What the fuck?" She exclaimed, making Kyungmi and Jaemin widen their eyes as they realized that they knew what Jiyeon was thinking.

"I'm not an ex nor did I sleep with him. I'm his best friend's soulmate, Kyungmi." Kyungmi rapidly explained and watched as Jiyeon's tense expression calmed down.

"Oh. Hello." She said with a small bow to show respect to the girl who she had accidentally assumed was with Jaemin.

"Here." She said as she turned to Jaemin and handed him the coffee cup.

"I felt bad for being a bitch plus I assumed you would miss it so." She said with a small shrug and Jaemin felt his lips curve up into a heartwarming smile.

"Thank you." He said and grabbed the drink, making sure to touch their fingers slightly as a slight affectionate act. Jiyeon had stiffened slightly and felt her cheeks flush as she noticed his flirtatious smile and turned to face Kyungmi.

"My name is Jiyeon." She introduced herself and Kyungmi nodded, signifying that she knew who she was and gestured for her to sit next to her on the couch.

"I'm sorry to ask, but what's going on?" Jiyeon asked as she sat down, followed by Jaemin who simply stood next to them and sipped the coffee that his soulmate brought him.

"A little birdy told me that you're having problems?" She said in a question like tone as she raised a brow and Jiyeon shrugged.

"No problems. Just don't care about soulmates. I believe in them though." She simply said and once again, Jaemin and Jiyeon felt twinges in their heart, Jiyeon experiencing more pain since the words came out of her mouth.

"Do you wanna say why?" Kyungmi asked with a concerned tone, knowing damn well that something was making her say those things and she was probably affected by something in the past.

"Men are trash. There's no 'perfect guy'. It's all a lie." Jiyeon bluntly said and Kyungmi glanced at Jaemin who had an obvious hurt expression.

"Nana, I think this is the part where you go and leave us to talk." Kyungmi softly said to the once again sulking boy who nodded in response.

"I'll be upstairs on my room. Come on, Buddy." Jaemin said in a sad voice and made his way up the stairs with Buddy following right behind.

Jiyeon watched them with regret in her eyes, saddened by hurting them and herself.

The second Jiyeon heard the sound of his door click shut, she buried her face in her hands, hating the feeling of the small tears beginning to form.
