The Sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky. And the birds chirping happily while enjoying the cool morning breeze.

While I, holding the straps of the backpack that felt heavy on my shoulders though inside there was only a thin notebook, was walking sleepily. My eyes were barely open to see anything.

It's dangerous. So please don't try doing this anywhere. Only experts like me can perform this. Hahaha just kidding.

This road is only for pedestrians, i.e. vehicles are not allowed. That implies there is no vehicle moving around that is going to run over me or I would get into any accident with. So I'm safe. Even if I am walking carelessly, like now.

But please keep it a secret or a certain prick will punish me if he finds out. And I don't wanna be punished. Thank you very much.
And if I am punished, I know whom I should hold responsible for. *Narrowing my eyes, looking at you readers* I'm watching you guys. So be good.

I took a right turn and walked down the lane for 10 minutes before a blue house came to the view.

It was my tuition center.

The classroom was empty, when I entered.

I rubbed my eyes and looked at the watch. It was 7:45.

The class was supposed to start from 7:30. Yet no one had arrived. Not even the sir was there.

And this was nothing new. Sagar sir is always 1hour late for his morning classes. And being his students, we come late too so that we don't have to wait for him long.

I switched on the lights and fans and went to my favourite seat. Putting the backpack on the desk, I sat down.

Lazily, I took out my mobile from my pocket and unlocked it. I frowned. There weren't any notifications for missed calls or text messages.
I turned on the data connection and waited for a few seconds. Still no messages neither from WhatsApp nor from fb messenger.

Okay. It's time to call that prick.

I tapped on his number and brought the mobile near my ear, only to hear.

"The number you're trying to call is switched off at the moment. Please blah blah blah…"

Seriously? I cut the call and dropped the mobile on the desk with a thud, feeling angry, irritated and sad.

He'd asked me to come early because he wanted to give me something special. But he's not here. Why did I come early heeding his request? I should have stayed at home and slept some more.

Sigh. Now I have to wait here alone before everyone comes. And I don't like being alone.

It's all his fault. I won't talk to him. Even if he comes to me and begs to forgive him. I just won't.

I pout and put my head on my hands and close my eyes, listening to the noises from my watch and the ceiling fan in the silence of the room.

Suddenly, I felt fingers touching my ear. Creases appeared on my forehead. It tickled very much due to my sensitivity. I whined and covered my face and ears, using my arms.

"Oon."

A sigh escapes from my mouth when the offender gently starts to stroke my hair.

"Come on. Wake up."

The whisperings were familiar. Akin to Kongpob's voice.

"Oon."

I groaned, stretching my legs under the desk and tilted my head to the side. And blinked before opening my eyes. Kongpob's handsome face came closer. His minty breath mingling with mine and I could count his eyelashes.
