       It had been 2 months since I had seen everyone. I spent summer alone in south London, prisoner to my house since my parents wouldn't allow me to go or do anything without them. They said that my friends were "bad influences" and I needed to make new ones this upcoming year. When they got the letter from Dumbledore on the last day of the 5th year stating that we all were caught drinking, I knew I was going to be in deep shit. Thank God I'm back at Hogwarts. 

       Everyone had just started making their way into the castle from getting off the train at Hogsmeade. I wasn't sure why but I was nervous, my anxiety spiking a little at not knowing how things were going to shake out this year. I was honestly surprised when we received the letter via owl from Dumbledore stating the school year would proceed as normal. Voldemort was on the rise again and I could feel it in the energy surrounding everyone I walked by. 

       I bolted straight for the dining hall to find Bella, knowing she was probably already there getting us a seat for the welcoming back speech and dinner. I hadn't seen her on the train since her mom usually drops her off at the last second. Her mom was a forgetful woman whose last priority was her daughter. 

          As soon as I stepped into the doorway of the dining hall, all of their eyes landed on me. Draco Malfoy, Matteo Riddle, Lorenzo Berkshire, Theodore Nott and Lukas White all stopped what they were doing to look over at me walking into the dining hall. The 5 Slytherin boys. Lorenzo's eye lit up when they met mine. He had been my closest friend since I started at Hogwarts years ago and he was also the one who got me the in into our little group. 

         I heard Bella calling my name, motioning me to join her at the Hufflepuff table. As I walked over to her I kept looking at each one of them. My parents hated them, every guy wanted to be them, every girl wanted to sleep with them and the professors were even a little scared of them. I sat down and before she could even say hi, flashbacks of each boy kept rushing in as I glanced over at each one of them.

"You must be Rose Clarke, my parents are good friends with yours and they told me you would be starting year one with me." The boy standing in the doorway of my train cabin stared at me waiting for a response. "I'm sorry, who are you? My parents didn't mention their friends having kids my age." I asked in the nicest way possible, being utterly confused. "I'm Lorenzo, Lorenzo Berkshire."

         I swallowed hard knowing that from that moment in year one, innocent younger me would end up being sucked into a friend group that would strip any innocence I had. 

"I cant keep doing this." Theo quietly looked at the floor, not wanting to look me in my eyes. "You cant keep doing what Theo?" I already knew what he was going to say but I wanted him to say it out-loud.  "I cant keep being the person you come running back to whenever things don't work out with anyone else." Our eyes met. "You have no idea how badly it hurts me every-time you run to me and tell me you wanna be with me knowing damn well the next day you're gonna be back in bed with someone else." 

         I met Theo through Enzo almost as soon as we got to Hogwarts for year one. Almost instantly, me Theo and Enzo had become good friends. I developed feelings for Theo way before anything happened between me and the others but at the time, I had no idea Theo and I would be a huge, confusing chaos.

"I hate you, I absolutely just fucking hate you." Draco screamed at me as he punched the wall beside his bed. "All you do is scream at me and act like you cant stand my existence when we are in public but at soon as its just us, behind closed doors, you cant get enough of me." I spat back at him. Draco sat on the floor and wouldn't look at me. "You sneak around with me, tell me what I wanna hear just so you can get me into your bed, just to treat me like shit any other time."
