"Mom, I am late for school!" your 8 years old boy Seojun wailed at you. "I told you to change the battery of the alarm clock, didn't I? It's all because you didn't. Now look, we are late!! You scolded him while driving to his school.

"Mom I forget it. Well, let's not talk about it. Because we are already late. Hope I don't miss the first day of my school after the summer break" he got all sad. "Don't worry we are already here." you tried not to disappoint him when he was already disappointed.

You finally reached his school. He quickly opened the car door and ran towards the front gate of the school "Mom bye!"

"Bye take care! And don't hurry-"  before you could speak anything he was already inside. "Look at him being all excited." you giggled at his behaviour.

You went back inside the car and drove back to your house. You then opened the door and suddenly met someone whom you can't withstand at all, your neighbour.

"Mrs Choi, how are you doing?" she asked. "It's not Mrs Choi, it's Miss Park! And I am doing good. What about you? You asked annoyingly.

"I am doing good too. Well, whatever you say but you are still Mrs Choi I mean you have Seonjun-ah too." she pulled the bomb.

"I am not. We got divorced 8 years ago. And I don't know where the hell he is at now. And I would appreciate it if you just call me Y/n as you are older than me." you replied.

"Then why don't you get married again in the sake of Seojun? He is still a kid and I guess he needs a father. Please be thoughtful about it. And till how many years are you going to stay single? You need a partner to survive." she started to beg you.

"First of all, I don't need a man to survive. I am enough by myself and I am doing my everything so that Seojun doesn't miss his father. And to miss his father he didn't even meet him so I guess he doesn't need a father too." you got so frustrated.

"But Y/n-" before she could say anything she got cut by her Son Yunho. "What is going on? Oh, Y/n! Hi?"

"Mrs Jung you should marry your Son first before telling me to marry someone again," you said and left.

"What is wrong with her mom?! He was shocked by your sudden reaction.

"Nothing, she just got annoyed by me stating the facts," she said. "Well, she is cute!" he laughed.

"Well, she is saying the truth too. Why don't you get married to anyone? Shall I set you up for a blind date?" she asked with a full outlook.

"No thanks, mom!" he ran away before things got tenser and he had to go for a blind date.

"What is wrong with these people nowadays? They don't have any work to do or what? She should marry her son first. But now she wants me to marry someone." you hit the table as you were so frustrated.

"She isn't that wrong you know right?" your father said while offering the glass of water to you. 

"But Dad, you know I can't just get married to anyone," you said, still holding the glass of water.

"I mean why can't you? You are only 28 and you still can as Seojun needs a father. Even if you don't agree with me now you will one day. Well, drink the water first." he said

You drink all the water and then replied "Dad it's not like I didn't try. None of them suits me. And when they get to know that I am divorced and have a kid they just reject it."

"Y/n what about I set a blind date for you?" your dad came and sat next to you on the sofa.

"Blind date again? I am busy!!" you shouted.
"Are you really my father? You and Mrs Jung are exactly the same." you went upstairs in your room.

"Wow!! I can't believe that my father is forcing me too. Why don't they get it that I don't want to marry. I just simply don't want to." you said to yourself.

You were so annoyed with them but deep down you knew that Seojun needs a father because it hurts to see him sad when he tells you that his friends are going for a soccer match with their dad or for a family picnic. But you did give up. You learned how to play soccer and on holidays you two went for a picnic and played soccer. You tried your best so that he doesn't feel the need for his father. You loved him so much. But whenever you look at him it always reminds you about San. If he wouldn't have cheated on you then this wouldn't have happened.

You were in love and came into a relationship with him when you two were in high school. One day you find out that you were pregnant with his child when you just entered College. Because of that, you have to drop out of college because both of you wanted to have that kid and especially San, he loves kids and didn't want to abort it.

But because of his one mistake, everything was ruined. It was his birthday. You were home back from your part-time job but then you caught him with a girl on the bed. But when you caught him he was denying that this is not what you think about it. But you saw it from both of your eyes.

BACK TO PRESENT DAY

"Mom I am back!" your son came running towards you.

"Wait how did you come back from school? Did Grandpa pick you up? Omg, I forgot that I have to pick you up." you got all frustrated and saw a familiar figure in front of your face. "Wait, you arrived home with Yunho?!?" you pointed at him.

"Yes, uncle Yunho picked me up from school," he replied.

"But why!?!?" you were in shock.

"Because I guess his mother forgot to pick him up from his school and thank God I was passing by so picked him up." Yunho laughed at your fallout.

"Mom uncle Yunho is so cool and you know he promised me that he will play soccer with me everyday!" he was so happy.

After seeing him this happy it did hurt you. Not because you were unhappy to see him happy it's because he actually needed someone to play with. You can't just always be with him. You have a job to do or to attend. But it was a relief for you that finally he had someone to play with. As he didn't even have any friends in his school. He was a loner which used to frighten you a lot. You were his only friend, mother and father. You were his everything.
