Danielle's POV:
I was running away from Arendelle and making ice with every step I could take. I had to run and get far away as possible from my family I have to protect them. I then bumped into someone and fell to the ground holding my head "Hay!" I yelled but looked at him in astonishment seeing the boy had icy blue eyes and soft brown hair.
"Oops sorry" he said pulling me up. "Thank you" I said then I looked at the ground, to see that where I was standing the ice was growing. I had to keep everyone safe "I have to go" I started running again. "Hay wait!" he ran after me and walked right in front of me stopping me from falling off a cliff "Be careful" he said holding me back.
He then heard voices and pushed me behind him I almost slipped but he caught me "Stay close" he said pulling out his sword.
I stayed silent and looked at him then at the ground the ice continued to spread and I ran from him again. I thought I was safe but I wasn't I got caught in someone's grasp "Let me go let me go let me go!" I squirmed trying to get free from this persons grasp.
"Haha we got her boys! Let's take her to be chained!" the man said "Help!!" I yelled. I then dropped to the ground from the man that had grabbed me had let me go. That boy he killed him with his sword.
I looked at the ground and saw my reflection in the ice "All I see in the mirror.... is a monster" I started to cry while that boy finished the other men off with his sword. Then he saw me crying.
He knelt down next to me while I cried "milady" he said. I looked at him with tear filled eyes "I'm sorry..." I said and trailed off. He put his hand on my cheek and started to stroke it, I felt calm and tired. "Get some rest princess" he said calmly then the next thing I knew I fell fast asleep.
Matts POV:
I smiled at her and picked her up and carried her to my house even if it was 300 miles away from Arendelle it had to be at my place cause she wanted to be far away so, I looked at her sleeping in my arms. She's more beautiful than when she was a little girl. I put her in my bed and my room and slept on the couch.
--Morning--
I woke up to the sound of crying, I ran to my room to see her, crying and wimpering in her sleep I leaned down next to her at the edge of the bed and put my hand to her head. She was warm... and that was bad.. she's usually cold but her head is warm. I got worried "I'm a monster" she mumbled in her sleep.
"Shhh.. not to me" I wispered, she woke up "What?" she said I smiled "your not a monster to me" I said "But didn't you see what happened yesterday?" she said laid up on the bed "with the ice and everything I was trying to protect you and people" she said, I sat down on the bed "I saw it but I was trying to calm you down, I'm suppose to protect you"
She looked confused when I said that "What do you mean?" she asked
"Your parents sent me to protect you when you were a little girl and I have protected you sense then" I said "Then... how come I've never seen you or know about you or anything?"
"It's cause your parents wanted me to keep it secret" I said "its been nice of you for letting me stay here for the night but I should be going" she said getting off the bed "No you have to stay here" I said grabbing her arm and pulling her back on the bed "But I have to keep people safe.. I have to keep you safe" she said
"No I have to keep your safe, I have to protect you.... snowflake"
She giggled "snowflake?"
"Yeah when you were sleeping you had cute snowflakes all around you" she giggled again and I say her blush, she's so cute "Awww" I said she giggled and blushed again "Stop" she said giggling.
I yawned I was pretty tired sense it was only 3 am in the morning "You should sleep" she said "I'll go sleep on the couch"
"No" I said she giggled "I'll be fine ok you should sleep in you OWN bed, it's fine." she said
"No I'll sleep out there while you sleep here" I kept saying
"Can't you just let me go for a second without protecting me?"
"No" I hugged her pulling her onto the bed with me and she hugged back
Danielle's POV:
I felt warm when he hugged me, he laid us both on the bed, he was holding me in his arms and protecting me I felt so comfy and tired. I yawned and he chuckled and stroked my head, I felt so warm and calm "Tired princess?" I nodded "Mmhm" I shivered he noticed and wrapped his jacket around me and held me closer.
I felt like passing out and falling back asleep and I did... and I was warm and calm and for the first time.... happy I was with someone to protect me.
--Hours Later--
I wake up and see him sleeping still so I just tried to pretend that I was still sleeping then he woke up and smiled at me and held me even more closer so that our bodies were touching then he kissed my forehead which caused me to open my eyes wide "Morning snowflake " he said smiling
"Morning..guardian" I snuggled against him and he was just so warm I didn't wanna let go. He smiled when I said that and held me more. "Snowflake" he said "Mmhm" I looked up at his eyes, they were sparkling like the moon and so easy to get lossed in "Ever sense I've been protecting you.... I started growing feelings for you... and..."
I knew where this was going, he likes me but how can he like such a monster like me? "I like you...." he said I looked at him and out my hand on his cheek, he smiled.. making him smile was the greatest part of my day... "I like you too... my guardian" he then pulled me towards him so our lips were inches apart from one another.
"I love you" he said and kissed me lovingly I was surprised but I kissed back, I never knew that love would be this great. We pulled apart and he held me again and I was smiling.
"By the way... I never got your name" I said "it's Matthew... and I never got yours either snowflake" I giggled "Danielle.." he smiled and all I could do was feel loved inside... and I could feel by the near moments and every single day we spent together, I could feel my frozen heart... thaw.
