HIS POV

They say first love never dies but greatest love remains forever.

Today, I'm currently standing on front of the altar, patiently waiting for the bride to enter the church.

I feel my heart beating so fast as the door opened and the wedding song started to play.

*WEDDING SONG 'I DO' INSERTED.*

There, I saw the most beautiful girl wearing a shiny, long-white wedding gown and her alluring face was covered by her white veil.

She's holding a bouquet of flowers. At this moment, I knew that I'm already teary-eyed but I didn't mind. I hold my breath when her glamorous eyes met mine.

HER POV

As I walk down the aisle, my eyes only landed to the man in front of the altar who is patiently waiting for me to come.

As we stare at each others' eyes, our hearts know that we really love each other.

It's like, our hearts are made and beating just for each other. I can't suppress my tears from falling.

HIS POV

From where I am standing, I can clearly see the tears running down her face. Then I suddenly remembered our memories together.

---- FLASHBACK------

It's Friday, my friends and I are having a good time at the school's covered court.

We're killing our time by smoking, doing silly things, and make fun of other students.

We stopped from what we're doing when an angelic voice called my name.

I turned around and I smiled when I found out that it was my girlfriend who called me.

Yes, a stubborn guy like me also had a girlfriend.

I'm an awful person, she's kind.
I can't talk without cussing, she's always calm.

To make the story short, I am the opposite of her. We're schoolmates, and in our 1 year relationship, she never give up on me.

She always encouraged me and she's the first one who believed that I can still change my life, that I can be the better version of myself and that it's not too late for me to make a change.

2 years of our relationship, when I decided to change my life for my girlfriend, not because she told me but because I love her and she deserves not a guy but a real man.

------- END OF FLASHBACK ----------

*Ting* *Ting*

I suddenly back to reality when I heard the bell, sign that the ceremony is going to start.

HER POV

I can't take off my eyes from him. I can't believe that this man loves me, and look at him right now, he's really now a matured man.

I can't believe that our wedding dream is happening at this moment.

He's saying something and currently looking at me intently.

I startled when someone from my right side squeezed my hand tightly.

When I looked to the person who squeezed my hand, it's him, my groom.

My attention diverted to the person who cleared his throat, to the person in front of us as he repeated what he's saying earlier.

"Again, do you take this man to be your lawfully
husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward,
for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer,
in sickness and in health?"

"Y-yes, I... I do", I answered.

Reality slapped me. Yes, our dream wedding come true. Everything we planned years ago about our wedding were all followed...

From our wedding song, to the theme of our wedding and to the wedding gown I'm going to wear. Me as his bride and he as my groom.

But today, I am the bride and hopefully, he as my groom as what we've planned, but unfortunately he becomes the...

priest in my wedding day.

We love each other ... so much but we can't be together. My heart is shattered but this is the reality, our reality.

HIS POV

"By the power vested in me by the Catholic Church of the Philippines, I now pronounce you, husband and wife."

It pains me, seeing my greatest love marrying someone in front of me. I still love her, and I know that she's still into me but I already made a choice years ago.

When I chose my calling 5 years ago, I'm aware that it means letting her go and losing her forever.

She's my greatest love, and forever she will. I know that my love for her will lasts forever. This reality still hurts me, but I'm also happy to the choice and decision I made with no regrets.
