We all have a deep longing in our hearts to be loved, desired and understood by someone who really cares and reciprocates our feelings. This is our only true strength because when a person is understood there is no obstacle which cannot be overcome and no fight which cannot be won. Love gives us the courage to put up with all the struggles or almost anything in the world.

The buzzing sound of my alarm clock awakens me from my deep slumber. I press the round button on my phone, waking it up and seeing its only 6am. I groan in response.

Today was my first day at UNI and I definitely wasn't prepared as much as I should be. I finally decide on getting up after ten minutes of debating going back to sleep or not. I grab my phone and a towel, strolling to the bathroom, locking the door behind me. As I step into the shower, scalding water falls upon me. That's the only way I can take a shower, hot water soothes me, I guess. I jump out of the shower and begin to blow dry my hair, leaving it in long brunette waves that cascaded down my back. Next, I do my makeup. Usually just eyeliner and mascara but since today was my first day of college I decided to do a little more. Foundation and concealer powder I put all over my face, and just a little blush in the apples of my cheeks. Then I take my shimmery gold eye shadow and rub it on my eyelids. Finally, I finish with a thin line of eyeliner above my eyelashes and a couple coats of mascara.

Going back into my bedroom, I open my dresser and pull out a maroon skater skirt, a thin, dark grey shirt, and some underware, of course. After I'm all dressed, I run into my roommates room, Megan, to wake her up for the day. Her classes don't start until an hour after mine. When she's awake and getting ready I pull out my black doc martens and put them on. I grab my purse, laptop and phone.

"I'm leaving now, Megan, bye!" I yell to her and walk out of our apartment into the narrow hallway.

I make my way down to my car and back out of the parking lot. Since its so early I decide to stop at Starbucks for some coffee, which would hopefully wake me up a bit. I pull into the Starbucks, park my car, and walk up to the entrance.

As I open the door, I collide with a boy, who looks about my age, that has two cups of coffee in each hand. I look down and see that my entire front was drenched in coffee.

"Watch where you're- " he pauses. "-I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going.." The unnamed boy said.

"No no, its fine, I wasn't paying attention." I shook my head

He looks down at my shirt, seeing its soaked state.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry about your shirt."

"Its okay, it'll dry." I said and smiled slightly.

"I'm Harry Styles, sophomore at UNI." He reached out towards my hand and I shook it.

"I'm Ava, Ava Scott. I'm also a sophomore at Uni." I said, laughing at the coincidental situation.

Harry Styles, he had brown curly hair, piercing green eyes and an appealing smile. His clothing style makes him even more attractive. He's wearing jeans, a black rolling stones T-shirt, white converse and a long cross necklace.

He took my hand and pulled me to his car and opened the trunk. Harry took out a plain black T-shirt and handed it to me.

"Since I drenched the shirt you're wearing you can have this one." He said smiling.

"Thank you," I blushed and took it from his grip. I slide the shirt over my head and tie the excess fabric around my waist.

"Anytime, beautiful." Harry said in complete confidence .

That caused me to blush even more, and Harry took notice to that.
