"Marry me," Bokuto said for the millionth time.

"No,❤️" Akaashi responded, also for the millionth time.

Bokuto didn't mean the term "marry me" quite literally. He intended more among the lines of "be mine."

Akaashi didn't know this. He thought this was their inside joke, for he was quite the oblivious one.

"Now isn't the time for your nonsense jokes," Haruki interjected.
"The coach is giving us a motivational speech."

Bokuto and Akaashi went mute and gave zero divided attention to the coach's motivational speech they've heard just about 100 times before.

"Very motivational." Bokuto sarcastically whispered in Akaashi's ear, earning a slight laugh from Akaashi's lips.

Bokuto smiled. It was rare for Akaashi to laugh or show any emotion at all. Apathy-Kun, he would sometimes call him.

What's the coach was done they walked into the gym's shiny floor. This wasn't just any gym .this was Evergreen's gym( a college that I made up).

" I can't believe we are doing a practice match against a college team. I'm nervous," Akaashi said, yet showed no hint of this in his face.

"Shiratorizawa does stuff like this all the time! If they can do it, we can too!" Bokuto said with a determined look.

Evergreens captain shook hands with Bokuto, and then the game began. Evergreens captain, Kyo, noticed Bokuto and Akaashi's bond immediately. He also noticed how strong the team was. To Akaashi's surprise, Bokuto didn't go to his emo-mode at all throughout the game.

When they were done with about three practice matches, the Evergreen team gave them critique and compliments.

"See ya tomorrow!" Kyo grinned as the coach led the Fukurodami team to a hotel about 5 mins from the college.

" two people per room. Since it's the weekend no specific lights-out time. Just be full of energy tomorrow." The coach said, being very lenient, for he trusted his team.
Bokuto and akaashi looked at each other, already knowing they wanted to share a room.

They grabbed the key from the coach and headed to the room. Bokuto immediately dropped his bag in the entryway and started exploring. Bokuto always found small things like hotel rooms exciting, Akaashi noticed.

Akaashi picked up Bokuto's bags for him and put them in the room where their two beds stood. He then started to unpack his own clothes and neatly folded them into the dresser the hotel provided.

" Who uses e hotel drawers?" Bokuto asked Akaashi as if he were doing some foreign act. Akaashi only shrugged.

"It just takes longer to repack. I keep my clothes in the suitcase. One side is for dirty clothes, and the other is for clean." He beams.

Akaashi shrugged and continued unpacking. After, they both went downstairs to get some food from the hotel buffet, which served breakfast and dinner. Akaashi took this opportunity to buy a couple of energy drinks while Bokuto filled his plate with food, eating at least 10 servings.

"What are those for?" Bokuto asked with a hint of suspicion in his voice.

" Energy drinks for tomorrow's practice match," Akaashi mumbled, avoiding eye contact.

"Isn't that too much for one day?" He asked. Akaashi only shrugged in response.

Bokuto walked to the window and gasped.

"Akaashi," Bokuto said breathlessly.

"What's wrong?" Akaashi asked.

" Nothing, just come here." Bokuto waved him over. Akaashi then walked towards the owl, standing shoulder to shoulder together.

You would not believe your eyes. Tokyo during the nighttime was stunning. Their glowing lights blared at them, drawing attention to themselves shamelessly. Bokuto and Akaashi saw Tokyo's lights quite often, but it never lost its charm.

Akaashi then goes to get ready for bed, changing into his nightclothes and doing hygienic stuff in the bathroom. As he got out, he saw Bokuto out on the bed closest to the window. He frowned. That was a bed he wanted

Silly boy, he didn't even put his blanket over him. Akaashi thought, knowing Bokuto often got cold easily while sleeping. He then tried to tuck him in without waking him up. He failed in his attempt to do so. Bokuto said soft thank you as Akaashi went to tuck himself in.

"Sweet dreams, Akaashi-kun."

"Sweet dreams Bokuto-San." Akaashi replied lazily as he opened an energy drink slowly and quietly. Pfft...when are dreams ever sweet to me? The Emerald-eyed boy thought as he chugged the energy drink, liquid trickling down his throat.
