It was the morning after Suman received the cannon from Shravan. She was feeling very joyous and was in a chirpy mood. As usual she came out from her bathroom after taking a shower and saw the gift kept with her medals and couldn't help but blush as she remembered the note, he gave to her.

That is why I'm apologising

Since you had taught me the same.

Now either forgive me or shoot me with this cannon.

I won't be scared,

All I want is you to smile!

She came out of the balcony to see her object of thoughts. With a lot of hope in his eyes Shravan waved at Suman yet again but, this time she did not ignore him. And instead of passing a death glare, she passed him a small smile making Shravan's heart flutter. The feeling erupting inside Shravan after seeing her smile made him jump at the spot making Suman chuckle.

Suman's POV (Point of View)

He may have spread the rumor in the school but why doesn't my heart agree? Why do my heart beats increase when I see the child-like innocence in his eyes? What are these feelings? Never mind, I will ponder over my feelings later but right now I have to get ready.

Shravan's POV

This is the first time after the whole fiasco that my Sumo has smiled upon seeing me. Finally, her anger is decreasing but that smile... Oh God! That smile was just so perfect! (Keeps his hand near his heart) Suman Tiwari aka my Brigadier Sumo, you are making me fall really hard for you. I will make sure that I win your trust and friendship back. And after sometime, with all the care and concern that I have for you, I will make you fall in love with me too!

At School, in the Chemistry Lab

As Suman went to her place, she saw 'I AM SORRY' written with Iron fillings and as a reflex her eyes went to Shravan's table. She saw him holding his ears. Although she showed him a death glare but couldn't help but smile to herself which unfortunately, was not noticed by Shravan. Suman knew that Shravan was making genuine efforts but she was still a little uncertain about trusting him again. As the teacher was proceeding further in the class, Shravan who was concentrating did not notice Aneesh messing with his chemicals. Suman saw it but decided to stay quiet as she thought that Aneesh could not stoop that low. As the experiment started, Shravan mixed the chemicals which led to a small blast on his table but led to a severe burn on his wrist. He started to whimper with pain. Suman quickly ran to him and started to pour water over his injury. She saw him crying and quickly wiped his tears assuring him with her eyes that it would be okay. Shravan started to scream with pain and she quickly took him to the infirmary. He started to whine as the nurse applied some cream so Suman hurriedly held his hand tightly to give him support. Her eyes were red and welling up with tears but she did not let them fall as she could not be vulnerable in front of him when he needed her the most.

Shravan's POV

It is burning a lot but still, I am feeling very content to see her concern for me. Has she forgiven me? And why are her eyes getting red? Does she also have the same feelings for me as I have for her? What if she too does love me? Thank God! It is the first time ever that anyone would be feeling fortunate after getting his/her hands burnt. She is even holding my hand. I seriously would have got lost in the feeling erupting inside me and jumped a lot if it wasn't for this stupid injury.
