Katara's POV

Great, another boring day at work(!) Then a guy with a large bag comes, "Hello there, what can I get you?" I ask him, "Anything, just make it vegetarian." He tells me, I nod. He looks awfully tired so I make him a coffee and give him a croissant. "Here you go!" I smile, "Thanks." He tells me, "Of course, have a nice day!" I tell him. "Yeah, yeah." He then says, rudely. I ignore it, then it reaches my lunch break. I go over to him, "Hey. Uh, you okay?" I ask, as he eats his croissant.

Aang's POV

"Never better(!)" I tell her, "Listen, if you're gonna be rude I'll never let you in again." She tells me, "Sorry, it's just my girlfriend has been cheating on me for the almost all of our relationship." I tell her, she has a solemn expression. "Well, uh, wanna be friends?" She asks, I smile. "Sure." I accept, she gives me a piece of paper with a 8 digit number. "Uh, what's this?" I ask her, "It's my phone number, you probably wanna text or call if we're friends." She laughs an angelical laugh.

Katara's POV

"Here's mine." He tells me, "Thanks, anyway I best get back to my job." I say, he nods. He glares at me, I look away. I then look somewhere else trying to avoid eye contact with him as I just did, he waves at me awkwardly. I slightly blush... that was embarrassing. Then a few hours later I close for the day and the guy's still there, "Uh, hey. You okay?" I ask, "Hey, uh this is really embarrassing to ask but I don't have a place to stay and you're my f-" I nod, "Sure." I then say.

Aang's POV

"Thanks." I tell her, "Course!" She says, "So, what's your name?" I ask, carrying my bag. "My name's Katara, I'm also a water bender." She tells me, I nod. "I'm Aang, I'm the Avatar I guess." I say, she blushes. I then hear her mutter several times, "I'm friends with the Avatar!" I laugh nicely, "Y'know, you're really pretty." I tell her, she blushes a bit more. We then arrive at her apartment building, "Thanks again." I smile, "Of course, you shouldn't be homeless." She says.
