Clary's POV:

I found out that Jace cheated on me. I saw him in Pandemonium. He was pushing a blonde onto the bar counter, basically eating her face off. I couldn't stand sitting there watching them, so I ran out and went to a nearby alley. I opened a portal that would go straight to my room, I instantly went through packed a duffel bag and wrote a letter explaining that I could no longer stay at the new york institute. My life had been ruined, it wzs no longer my life. After finding out that he had cheated, I wouldn't be able t look him in the face the same, or be in the same room, let alone fight with him and trust him with blind trust. After finishing my letter, I went to issabelles room, slipped the note under her door. I then returned too mine, grabbed my duffel bags and went through the portal. During the time that i had written the note, the portal had been shaking the entire institute but luckily, no one had come to my room to see if it was in my room. After going through the portal i landed on the doorsteps of an institute. i had no idea where i was or what time it was.

Jace's POV:

i had gone to pandemonium after realising that my feelings had changed and amplified so much. it was kind of wierd but i needed to get out of the institute and find a place to think. i decided to go to pandemonium because i thought having a drink  might help me to think. i think i made a mistake though because I'm now in a back room with a blonde chick on me. im eating her face out and shes eating mine. Clary isnt in the back of mind. the main thing on my mind is the girl that is now straddling my lap.  I didnt really care that it was wrong unti i got a phone call from alec saying that the whole institute was shaking, which meant that there was an open portal somewhere. the only thing was that they couldnt find it or clary as a matter of fact. i immeiately excused myself and ran to the institute. By the time i got to the institute, the shaking had stopped. I went to find alec, when i found him i saw alec comforting izzy. I asked what was wrong and then izzy turned to me, walked up to me and started to pummel me. I didnt know what it was for but i just took it. it took alec to get her off of me but i still idnt know why i was being pummeled. She yelled,"your the reason shes gone, your the reason she left us all." i was so confused.
