"Good morning darling," Loki said with a sleepy voice and looked over to me. I was still sitting at the window sill. "Good morning. How do you feel?" I asked with a smile. "I'm fine just a little headache but it will be gone soon. Since when do you wake up earlier than me?" Loki asked laughing and I started laughing too. "I am a morning person. I just hid it for ages." I burst out in laugher as I walked over to him and placed a kiss on his mouth.

"You didn't sleep last night! Am I right?" Loki asked worriedly. I nodded, "your father came to our chamber as we arrived here and wanted to talk with me." I replied. "Why didn't I notice. I'm sorry that I left you alone with him." Loki said with a sad voice. "It's okay. He showed me a part of the rooftop and talked with me." I said softly. "And it took him the whole night to talk with you?" Loki asked suspiciously. "No, but I stayed there for a while longer to think about everything and forgot the time. I came back when the sun rose again." I replied as it was normal to stay up all night.

"What did my father say to you that you are still thinking about it? I can tell that you are even right now thinking about it and not paying much attention to me. Tell my darling." Loki said softly but kinda determining. "He apologized at first, that he behaved that bad in the past. And told me that he is fine with our marriage now." I replied and took a deep breath before I continued. "He offered me to work for him again. Just for one job." "And for what job?" Loki asked suspiciously. "To help Asgard in the upcoming war," I replied sadly.

"What war? Why didn't he tell Thor or me? Why did he need you and not his sons?" Loki asked confused. "He told me that the war is against the people that killed my family. And the reason why he didn't tell you... well, the war will be against the Frostgianst." I said scared. "I rejected his offer directly. I won't kill your biological father, even if he might have killed my family back then." I inserted directly. Loki looked at me confused and sat up. "Why should Laufey wanted your family and you dead?" Loki asked. "Odin meant that Laufey knew about my powers and wanted me as a weapon. And as the same weapon, Odin wants me to kill every Frostgiant now." I replied as I tried to look away.

Loki cupped my face with his hands and looked me deep into my eyes. "We will find out what happened back in the past. How Laufey could know about your powers or if he killed your family. Odin could have said this just to convince you to work for him." Loki said pensively. "I had this thought too. But I have no idea how we could find out the truth." I replied sadly. "I will talk to Odin. He has no right to drop something like this and then not telling his son. I will go now." Loki said angrily and stood up.

I stand up as I pulled him towards me and kissed him softly. "You should think about it first. He is the king of Asgard." I said worried Loki could put himself in danger. "I will be fine. But I have to talk to him now." Loki said as he walked out of our chamber toward the big hall where Odin should be right now. I followed Loki to prevent the worst. But I couldn't stop him.

"Good morning," Thor said nicely towards us but Loki ignored him and walked straight towards the big hall. "What's the problem?" Thor asked me confused. "Just stop him or he will do something that he will regret soon," I demanded towards Thor and he rushed over to Loki. But it was too late Loki opened the door and saw Odin sitting on his throne next to him his wife Frigga.

"How you dare to offer her such a stupid deal and lie to her face!" Loki shouted through the hall towards Odin. Thor entered the hall directly after him but he wasn't able to say anything anymore. I entered the hall as Odin began to speak. "Please leave us alone," Odin demanded the guards and they left without a word. "Loki my son come closer. We can talk about it alone and quieter." Odin continued. "No way. So you can try to tell more lies. I'm totally fine when the others hear this too. I would tell Thor  anyway and my wife has the right to join this conversation." Loki said angrily as he walked closer to Odin and Frigga. Thor walked over to the side to watch the whole conversation.

"Loki stop it. We should leave before it's getting worse." I said to him as I reached his side and hold his hand tight in mine. "No this has to be talked out now." He said softly towards me and turned around again to face Odin. "Do you want to tell everyone what you offered her? Or should I?" Loki asked Odin angrily. "That was supposed to be a secret between me and her. This is just a job. Why do you care? That isn't even your family." Odin said. "Maybe this isn't the family where I was raised but there is still my biological family and you wanted her to murder a whole species. You asked her to betray me and lied to her face." Loki shouted angrily.

"I didn't lie to her. Laufey knew about her powers since she was born." Odin insisted. "And how should he know something that no one could have know? She was born in Asgard to a normal family. A family without any special powers, just people that worked for this stupid palace." Loki was getting angrier. He felt betrayed by Odin with every word he spoke. "How you dare to talk like that with me. Your king." Odin raised his voice.

"And now you try to avoid my questions. So I guess this wasn't the truth. Otherwise, you could have said this. Tell us now.  Who killed her family? And you got the last chance to tell the truth otherwise we have to find out in other ways." Loki said determining. "I told you the truth. Why should I lie to you?" Odin asked rhetorically but Loki answered his question anyway. "Because you need her as a weapon. To win this stupid war you want to start against the Frostgiants. But no worries we will find out the truth on our own." Loki turned around and pulled me softly with him.

"We're not finished now. Come back!" Odin demanded but Loki ignored him and walked with me to our chamber. Thor looked over to his mother Frigga both of them in shock. "Loki wait," Thor shouted softly as he followed us in a rush. "What are you planning to do now?" Thor asked Loki as he reached us. "I don't know. Maybe we could ask Laufey." Loki said. "And you think that he would tell the truth?" I asked suspiciously. "I don't think so but he is not a God. So you can feel if he tells the truth." Loki replied and continued. "Thor, meanwhile you should go back and find out where the rocket from our wedding came from. Maybe some Frostgiants make it to reach Midgard and attack us." "I'm not completely convinced that it is a good idea when you two go to Laufey but I guess you're not changing your mind. So just be safe there." Thor said before he left us.
