*phone alarm plays annoying ass tone* "GRRRR 6am ALREADY I WAS HAVING A PERFECTLY GREAT TIME DREAMING!" I yell at my alarm on my phone. I roll off my bed making a thump on the floor and roll across the carpet to the entrance of my ensuite. I stand up, quickly brush through and tie my long dark brown hair into a messy ponytail and a light coverage of makeup. Then I go chuck on a white cropped teeshirt and skinny jeans. Great first day of my new school. I walk downstairs I walk into the kitchen my little brother is sitting at the table shoving cereal into his face, "pig!" I yell as I slap him across the head. "Love you too sis!" He exclaims back with a chubby smile of milk and cereal spread across his face. "Morning everyoneee" sings mum making her grand entrance. She's been acting a lot stranger since the divorce and too busy with work that we haven't had too much of a time to explore the new town. As I shove a piece of toast in my mouth I sit at the table and check my phone. "OMG IS IT ALREADY 8!!! MUM WE NEED TO GO PRONTO!" "JUST WAIT A SEC GET YOUR BROTHER AND HEAD TO THE CAR!!!!" "Ugh c'mon pig" I grab my brother by the shirt parting him from his cereal and head for the door. I quickly grab my black vans on the way out along with my matching vans bag. About 3 minutes later mum jumps in and turns on the radio. "Oh no not the 80's channel" me and my brother both say in perfect sync as we race for our earphones. "AGHHHH MY PHONE DIED ELLY YOUVE GOTTA HELP ME!!!" My brother covers his ears scrunching his face up at mums high pitched voice that could even make a deaf man hear her. "Well this means you should charge your phone more often huh?" I yell at him over mums voice. "NOOOOOOO!" He cries all the way to middle school. And then there was me and mum. "Okay you remember the number one rule don't you?" "Always wear protection?" I smirk cheekily at her. "Haha real mature I was gonna say make some friends and have a good time" she said as she kissed me on the forhead. "Good luck hun!" Was the last thing I heard faintly over all the questions swarming in my head. Okay let's do this! As I enter the halls I head for the office. The school isn't as big as it looks but as soon as I got my map and timetable I was fine. Until this happened... Me being the clumsy idiot I am happened to bump into the schools biggest jock Brad. He was wearing the schools football team jacket and looked at me with his bright blue eyes piercing my soul. "Hey watch it newbie!" He stared at me and pushed his way through with his little team following him smirking at me. Great first impression there Elly well done! Then the bell goes and I head to my first English class. I sit up the back before all the other seats get taken and I girl with long light brown hair flowing down her shoulders plumps down next to me. "Hey my names Katie you must be the newbie?" "Yeah Elly nice to meet you" "ooh I love your name its a pleasure!" She seems way over excited but gestures her hand out for a hand shake. I gladly accept and than the teacher walks in. After first period I head out to lunch with Katie and meet some of her friends. They were alright but Katie said she doesn't like to hang out in big groups so we just decided to get to know eachother. "You know I heard that apparently there's another new guy her too!" She looked at me suspiciously "I also heard he's single" her eyebrow raised with a big grin appearing. "Haha let's not jump to conclusions here miss dramatic I'm not here for boyfriends. I'm here because I have to be. Well that's what I thought until I saw him....
