I am not a fan of slow burn books yet I read this. Little different kind of Omegaverse and author explains it before she starts the story. One of the very few stories of Omegaverse AU where Omega is not weak and Alpha is not an asshole. I love love love Tae's and Jin's character so much. The interaction between everyone is so good. Vmin and Taegi heart is so happy here with such beautiful friendship and brotherhood bond they share. The writing style is beautiful. After reading a lot of FF, it seems like BDSM lifestyle even though very inaccurately represented is the only way to show that sexual intimacy can be rough or the way power bottom works but in reality BDSM lifestyle is very rare and there is a different set of conduct and rules people follow for that. This is one of the rare book where being power bottom isn't about BDSM and smut is shown in a very different equal footing kind of way and that is super refreshing. The way both taekook handle the urge to mate is very interesting to see. This book left me feeling of incompleteness and few unanswered questions and I really hope author can write a short sequel to feel that void haha.. Like the the book ends when they mate and it leaves me with a big vacuum. They both hold back on expressing how they both appreciate each other and how they are whipped for each other and I really really really was looking forward to seeing that part. I really wanted to see whether mating will change their power dynamics, if so how? If not then how will they handle things? I am still unclear about one of the sideslips. I think it is mentioned in passing but not 100% sure and other question was will Tae needs to change the way he runs his company because of mating as the laws are different and ambiguous. But people looking for different take on Omegaverse and doesn't mind having this vacuum at the end, please read. (Secretly hoping authormin will write a short sequel)
