(Y/n's POV)
It was a few weeks later. I had gotten into a rhythm. I went to school in the mornings, went to volleyball practice after school, and when I got to the house he usually wasn't home. I would sleep for a few hours, and then wake up before he got back. I would go to the bathroom and eat something, and then lock myself in my room. I would do homework during the night, and if he was really bad about getting into my room I would sneak out the window and carefully climb down some vines growing up the side of the house and go for a run.
I would sometimes catch a couple hours of sleep at night. I was just too scared to sleep when he was around. He had broken into my room a couple of times while I was asleep. I had been able to escape through the window, but I was afraid I wouldn't be quick enough one of the times.
On a brighter note, Noya had started trusting me again. We had gone on another date, this time to a festival that had been in town. I mean, the whole team had gone, but he had taken me. It had been fun, but more like hanging out with my brother fun, not on a date fun.
Tsukishima and I hung out a few more times so he could help me with schoolwork, after a lot of sarcastic comments, but it was either at the school and once at his house. Even though he was really annoying, I was starting to like him more. He had even told me I could call him Tsuki, which I think is saying something.
time skip thingy, idk what to call this
I walked into the first class of the day, yawning. Last night had been a rough one. I had to sneak out of the window again. I flopped into my seat next to Tsuki, greeting him. "Hey, listen to this one," He said, leaning over and putting his headphones over my ears. It was a new thing of ours. We found out we both loved music, so we always showed each other new songs. We both liked a huge range of music, from purely instrumental to pop to rock. This one was a rock song.
I listened to it while I unpacked my backpack, taking out my worksheet. Tsuki had to lean close to me, because the cord to his headphones was connected to his phone, and I was acutely aware of his body heat. I bobbed my head to the music. It was a catchy beat and tune. The singer had a nice voice, a little bit rough and scratchy. The beat was quick, and it gave me the vibes of right before a game, when you're super nervous but excited and you can feel the tension and your sights are set on winning.
When the song was over I took the headphones off, passing them back to him. "That's a good one! The singer has a really nice rough voice. And the beat was super catchy and the tune was good."
"It reminded you of the vibes before a sports game, right?" Tsuki asked.
"Yup." I was about to say something, but he interrupted me.
"Hey, what's that?" He reached over and gently brushed a warm finger over my cheekbone, amber eyes looking intensely through his glasses.
I reached up, sliding my own finger along my cheek. There was a slight cut there. "Oh, it's nothing. I fell asleep on my books and got up too fast. It's just a papercut." Well that was a pathetic excuse.
His eyes narrowed. "You're still a horrible liar."
I stuck my tongue out at him, saved from having to respond by the class starting.
time skippp
"Hey, do you want to come over and do a movie marathon with me on Saturday?" I looked up. Tsuki had a hand on the back of his neck, and was blushing really bad. This was the first time he was asking me to do something. It was always the other way around. "Tadashi is busy with his girlfriend all day and I was going to hang out with my older brother instead but my whole family is going to be gone, and even though you're an idiot I was thinking if you weren't busy we could hang out..." We were walking out of the gym after a long practice, soaking in the sunshine. Tadashi had already disappeared to hang out with his girlfriend. We thought she was getting kind of needy lately.
I couldn't help but grin. I was starting to catch some serious feels for this kid. "Sure! What are the movies?"
"Uh, do you know the Jurassic Park movies?" He asked, somehow managing to blush even more. He was staring up at the sky, refusing to look at me. He must've been embarrassed.
"Duh, they're like some of the most amazing cinematic movies ever. I mean, dinosaurs scare the shit out of me, but I will always watch those movies, they're so good!"
He looked down. "Don't make fun of me," He pouted.
I laughed. "I'm not! They're really good movies! I would love to come over and watch them with you. What time?"
"Wait, you're scared of dinosaurs? You do realize they aren't around anymore?" He asked, blinking at me.
I punched up his arm. "Shut up, Tsuki."
"Sorry y/n."
