~ Diary entry #67
It's been, I think 4 years since Luz Moved away? Titan knows if she's okay or not, her mother had let her live here, and eventually moved to the boiling isles, except she wanted to move away from all the craziness, since Willow, Gus, Luz and I had defeated Belos, it's been pretty easy since she left, but ever since then I had this gaping hole in my chest. I do remember her promising me that she'd visit, or even stay for awhile, and if I do know one thing...
that girl can keep a promise.
---------
Amity shut her diary, glancing at a sticker that was on the lower left corner of the cover, it seemed to be a horse with a Horn. Amity never managed to figure out what it was, King had given it to her, after she apologized for stepping on his cupcake a few years back.
It made Amity smile, for the first time in a long time too. Things with her parents weren't all sunshine and rainbows, the complete opposite actually.
To Amity's surprise, she actually has an Older Sister, Much older than her other older siblings, Emira and Edric. She's around 24 now? Her names Amelia, She also looks A LOT like Amity, except her hair was longer, and she has this sort of Pastel Goth Aesthetic to her, she picked on Amity from time to time, but she loved her youngest sister, so they got along well.
Her parents were actually thrilled when they all moved out, of course, it didn't bother amity much, she had saved up enough money, at least until she finds a job.
She moved in with Amelia, since she had a decent sized house, and Amelia offered to take her in until she could prosper on her own.
In exchange, Amity helped with cleaning, and occasionally did taxes (Yay, fun), her parents had taught her how to do taxes at 15. They'd always say "Better learn it now so you can be prepared in the future", They had always told her things like that, one of the reasons why Amity was so excited on moving out.
-----------
Making her way downstairs, Amity saw Lucia, Amelia's girlfriend.
"Hey Amity, can we talk for a second?" She asked, pointing to the kitchen
Amity tilted her head but nodded, following her. she sat in one chair, and Amity sat in the other, at least 3 feet in front of her. She was Rather pretty, Amity understood why Amelia would like her, she was funny and a total Badass, much cooler than herself. And what was surprising is that she's Luz's older sister, which makes sense, they look almost the same.
"What is it Lucia?", Amity asked, Grabbing a water bottle from the fridge and sitting back down.
"It's about Amelia, I think I want to marry her", Amity, unfortunately, was taking a sip of water during that time, water shot through her mouth, and onto the table. The collar of her shirt was soaked, but it didn't matter. Lucia patted her back, kind of scared of how Amity reacted.
"Wait really?!", Amity choked out, Lucia still patting her back.
"Yeah, I thought it was about that time, I really do love her", Lucia swooned, Grabbing a towel from the drawer.
"Well, I know that Amelia loves you too," Amity added, grabbing the cloth from Lucia, "If you want to marry her.. I support you", Lucia grinned, running up and hugging the partially wet witch.
"Do I call you my sister now?", Amity questioned, earning a small chuckle from the Latina.
"Hell no. It sounds weird, Dont'cha think?", Amity thought about it and laughed. She sat up and headed for the door, putting on her maroon colored sweater.
"Well, Lucia, I'm going out for a quick drive, do you want me to pick anything up?", Amity asked, grabbing her keys that had a small light glyph keychain attached.
"Eh, Nah, Thanks though", Lucia said, going back upstairs, Amity shrugged, heading for the door.
-------
The young witch left the house, being met with a soft breeze. It was especially nice outside.
Amity had a fairly decent car, it was all payed for and drove nicely. it was also a convertible, which most witches thought were ugly.
The girl hopped in her car, putting her keys into the Lock cylinder, then twisting the keys to the right. The car Roared for a moment, and then turned into a hum.
-----
A few minutes into her drive, the girl turned on the radio and flipped to her favorite station, a guitar then began to play.
Amity loosened her grip on the wheel, letting her mind drown in the music.
-
I've lost my cool, I'm not sure how to act
-
Amity Rolled down her window, hanging her left arm out, and her right hand gripping the steering wheel.
-
Not even sure how I can keep my pride intact
Well I don't know if this is it but can't you see?
No I'm not falling for you, so please have mercy on me
-
The chorus began, Amity hummed along with it
'Cause it's not romantic I swear!
I'm not gasping for air
I want you to be here, so please don't come near
'Cause even though I'm pretty sure my head's exploding
I'm not ready for hand holding
It's not love, I swear
It might be closer to despair
The Instrumental played and Amity drove to a small clearing in the forest, she parked her car close to a cliff, admiring the view.
The city lights sparkled, it was breathtaking, even considering how Amity had been here before, but every time she came here, she couldn't ever get enough.

The song on the radio had finished, and all that was heard was the chirps of crickets, and the occasional howl of a coyote, Amity however, wasn't bothered by the sounds, she instead sat on the front of her car, admiring the stars above. There were no clouds, so constellations were visible.
With a long sigh, Amity got up and back in her car, starting it again.
Driving back home, Amity planned to go to a new Coffee shop that had just opened up Downtown.
With that decision, amity stepped on the gas, driving back to her neighborhood.
