I have a creative writing class and we were given some random prompts so here's the drabbles I wrote (I also changed the names of the characters)

PROMPT: Perfect body

Genetic modifications. They were always dangerous. But he never listened to me. Even when I begged him not to, to stop while he still can he always brushed me off. As a doctor, I would see hundreds of people every day begging to be modified. They wanted all wanted perfection, but none of them knew that perfection always came with a price. I tried to tell them the risks, to plead with them not to do it. They always brushed me off, confident that they were right. Modifications took away just as much as they gave, slowly sucking the good out of you. It took your empathy, your kindness, even taking away your soul. But he never listened to me, and now he sat in front of me, his one organic eye glazed over, his robot one shut off. He was a mindless corpse. All the life sucked out of him, just for the "Perfect Body". Perfection always has a price, even for the mighty GOAT.

I just imagined how doc would end up like half creeper and half cyborg so I went down the genetic modification route. Who is the doctor though, any suggestions? Sorry if it doesn't make sense, I wrote it in like five minutes.

PROMPT: Stars

Xisuma and Keralis weaved and danced through the sky, just two specks under the never-ending number of stars. Keralis laughed as he wove through the air, ducking and spinning, light as a feather under the glow of the moon. The grey wings on his back were made up of thousands upon thousands of tiny feathers, all working together as he flew higher and higher towards the moon. He reached his apex, before pausing midair for a split moment. It was moments like these that could last for a thousand and you would never know. The very passage of time itself seemed to pause, just to capture the expression of pure joy on Keralis's face. His eyes were widened, swollen red lips perfectly parted in an expression of wonder, the moonlight lit up every crevice of his face, showing all his perfections. Freckles were dusted over the bridge of his nose, small dimples aligned perfectly on each cheek. Xisuma could have spent a thousand years admiring his face, but all too soon it was over. Keralis let himself fall back, almost reaching his terminal velocity. Just before he hit the ground, his wings spread to their full span, and he landed gracefully on the grass. He turned to Xisuma, still panting, his face still dusted with shards of moonlight, he uttered a single word:

"Wow"

I'm pretty happy with this one, I wrote it while watching Doctor Strange so maybe that's why I went on about time freezing?

PROMPT: Nervous

Grian was nervous. Not just the kinda weird feeling nervous. The type that trickles into your brain more and more over time, until that's all you can think about. The type that slowly makes your legs shaky and fills your belly with that twisty curvy feeling and turns all your thoughts into irrational ones. The type that makes you want to never get out of bed again and curl up into a ball of safety and comfort.

Unfortunately for Grian, living in his bed forever wasn't a logical option, so sighing, he got up to face another day.

This one could be the start of a One-shot if I get the motivation to write it?

Anyways, Thanks for reading, remember to drink water and take care of yourselves!
