The way you smile, the way you laugh

The way you catch my breath.

Fate must have brought us together

A shared moment, a helping hand

Someone to call on in times of need

We’ve been through so much together

In so little time we’ve shared

I will never forget all the moments, 

that you’ve shown me, how much you care.

Tears of blood fall from my broken heart

I never thought, we would be apart

When you held me you said “forever”

Now that you’re gone I know you meant “never”

I miss the comfort you bring to my soul. The sunlight, you bring even when it rains.

Memories fade, with changing of the seasons

Feeling changed, the heart remains

Trusting and hopeful turning a new leaf.
