13 December 2006 (flashback)

I was playing hide and seek with my best friend, Huang Renjun. I was the seeker so I had to find him. I tried to find him for 2 hours but he was not found. Turns out his family moved to Seoul, South Korea since his dad found a new job there, leading to Renjun studying overseas. I went back home upset, as I thought he didn't want to be friends anymore and left me alone. As I entered through the front door, my mum ran and hugged me.

She gave me a bracelet that Renjun gave before he left, then broke the news to me that he moved overseas. It seemed like the bracelet wasn't just any bracelet. This bracelet has a lock on it and I need the key. Seems like there's something inside. I didn't know what "him moving overseas" meant at first, but now, I wish I hadn't.

09 January 2015 (end of flashback)

Hey, I'm Kim Jiwon. I am a student from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Seoul Campus. A university in Seoul, South Korea. I go to this university with my twin sister, Kim Siwon. We don't look quite identical. I also have a boyfriend. His name is Jung Jihoon, he goes to the same school as us. Here's my story. It was a new school year and I was sitting at the cafeteria alone, day-dreaming, thinking about my childhood crush. I think his name was Injun? I tried to remember his name until...

"Earth to Jiwon!!" Siwon waved her hands in front of my face. "H-huh?" I asked, confused. "Silly, there are 7 new students! And they're all guys~" she said, in a flirty tone. As soon as she said that, Jihoon came by. He overheard our conversation and glared at Siwon. She rolled her eyes and Jihoon sat beside me. "Ugh, ew much?" Siwon said in disgust. Before I spoke, a bunch of girls started screaming, filling up the cafeteria with their annoying high-pitched echoes. Three of us groaned. The girls ran to the entrance of the cafeteria, leaving the three of us confused.

We looked at the direction the girls ran to and saw 7 good-looking guys. As we watched them enter the cafeteria, one of them who was the shortest, with brown hair, looked at me and winked. I blushed a little bit, and didn't show much, which made me feel relieved. As I faced back to Jihoon, he was sending lots of death glares to the guy that winked at me. Suddenly, he and his friends came by and sat down with us at our table. I scooted nearer to Jihoon to give the guys more space. As they were introducing themselves, one of the boy's said,

"My name is Huang Renjun but u can call me Renjun." He looked at me and smiled. The name 'Huang Renjun' sounded familiar but I couldn't remember where I heard that name from. As soon as lunch ended, we were told to gather in the auditorium as Mr Kim, the principal, made an announcement. "Good morning students. Welcome back to a new school year. Today, we have 7 new students. They will be joining us this year. I have decided that you all will stay in a dormitory. After this talk, you will head straight to the building where your dormitory is and line up and you will be given a set of keys to your dormitory. Understood?"

We all nodded. I hope I get to be in a dorm with Jihoon. As we exited the auditorium, Jihoon, Siwon and I headed to the building to get our keys. We lined up and got our keys. As soon as I saw the key number, I was upset because I was in dormitory 23 but Jihoon was in dormitory 31. We parted our ways and headed to our dorms. Apparently, we were told that our luggage was already brought to our dormitory. As I unlocked the door, I saw someone who just came out of the shower, half naked. I quickly ran out and covered my eyes. Gosh that was so embarrassing and awkward!
