𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒, 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒, & 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒 (natsurin & isugou)

Rin slips his combat boots off before pushing the door to his childhood home open. The sun is not up yet, and the college student prays that the same applies to his mother and younger sister. Since his first year of university in Australia is over, Rin decided that he would spend his break back at home with his friends, family, and his boyfriend.

Well, boyfriend isn't really the right word. In fact, Rin isn't even entirely sure what the right word even is. When he first met Kirishima Natsuya in Sydney, it was clear that the older one of the two was interested in the younger. Rin picked up on this, and Natsuya's time in Australia ended up being a cycle of going out to dinner with his kōhai, getting drunk, and spending the night with him.

That is basically the exact same thing that has been happening during Rin's first week back. The only thing that he dislikes is having to get up early in the morning and sneaking back into the Matsuoka family household with no one noticing.

Rin shuts the door behind him and makes his way down the hall and to the living room. He passes the obese family cat, Steve, and begins tiptoeing towards the bedroom hallway. He's stopped in his tracks, however, by the sound of someone else's muted steps on the kitchen floor. Rin spins his head to the source of the sound and sees a somewhat tall, young woman. Her hair is around the same length as his, just barely tickling the lobes of her ears. However, her hair's colour reminds Rin of somebody else's. Maybe it reminds him of...

"Mikoshiba!" Rin exclaims.

"Will you keep your voice down?" the intruder scolds him in a hushed tone. "Your mom can't know that I'm here!"

"Sorry, uh..."

"Isuzu."

"Isuzu! But you are Mikoshiba-san and Momo's sister, correct?" Rin asks.

Isuzu nods her head.

"What are you doing here?"

"I can answer that question," someone from behind Rin says.

He turns around to see none other than his younger sister, Gou.

"You can leave now, Isu-chan," the petite girl says.

With that, the Mikoshiba sister rushes out of the kitchen, towards the door. Once Isuzu shuts the door behind her and enters the cool dawn, Gou tugs on her older brother's sleeve. The girl drags him to the couch and pushes him onto one of the cushions then takes a place right beside him.

"Nii-chan..." Gou lets out a nervous breath. "I- I'm bisexual." Immediately, Gou looks away from Rin as tears start welling up in her eyes. "A- And... Isuzu is my girlfriend, and if you don't accept me for who I am, then I don't really care because this is who I am and you could never ever change that and-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down, Gou." Rin reaches out and takes his little sister into his comforting arms. "Why would you ever think that something like this would ever cause me to think differently of you? Do you really think so lowly of me? You're my sister, Gou. I will always love you, no matter what."

Gou buries her face in Rin's shoulder, wiping the tears from her eyes. "Really?"

"Yes, really," Rin chuckles. "It's just kind of surprising since you're so obsessed with muscles and stuff."

"Isuzu has very nice muscles too, you know!" Gou huffs. "And... sorry for freaking out like that. I guess I always knew that you wouldn't be the kind of person to hate queer people. It's just... I don't know. There was still a chance, you know? And I wouldn't know how to react if someone I loved let go of me because of who I am."

Rin contemplates this. "Does Mom know yet?"

Go shakes her head. "I'm scared."

"Then I'll be there with you. Besides, there's something I need to tell Mom, too."

"Thank you, onii-chan... Wait." Gou looks up at her brother. "Tell her what?"

"Gou..." Rin reaches his hand up to the back of his neck. "I'm bi, too."

The girl jumps up a bit in shock. "Wait, does that mean you're dating Haruka-kun? Or is it Sousuke? It's definitely Sousuke."

"What? N- Well... I did have a crush on Haru when I was younger, but I'm not dating him."

"So, are you dating anybody?"

"You remember that Kirishima Ikuya with the teal hair from the All-Japan Invitational. I'm dating his older brother. Sort of. His name is Natsuya."

"What are his muscles like?"

Rin snickers. "Of course you'd ask that. My coach in Australia thought they were lackluster, but I think they're fine."

Gou hums. "When do I get to meet him?"

"Next Sunday? That's when I was thinking we could both come out to Mom by bringing Natsuya and that Isuzu girl over for dinner," Rin suggests.

"Nii-chan! That's not fair! You met Isuzu already. It's only fair that I get to meet Natsuya-san!" his sister whines.

"Okay, okay, fine! Tomorrow then."

"Dinner with your family on Sunday, huh?" Natsuya says after placing down his warm mug of cappuccino on the table.

Rin had called his friend a few hours after the sun came up, asking to meet up for brunch. Natsuya showed up a little late (like he always does), and the two got a booth far from the entrance to protect themselves from the slowly cooling and crisp September breeze. Attakaishima Cafe has a warm atmosphere, bustling with tranquil customers who have nothing else to do with their weekend. It was a change in scenery from the usual bar the two would meet up at during the nighttime.

"Sorry if this is freaking you out with how fast things seem to be moving," Rin apologizes. "I mean, we aren't even technically dating, but I told my sister-"

"We aren't?"

"Aren't what?"

"Dating."

"Are we?"

"Do you wanna be?" the older one of the two asks before taking a bite out of his raspberry doughnut.

"I mean... kinda," Rin admits.

"Well, it's official now. We're dating." Natsuya winks and leans back in his seat.

Rin averts his gaze from his now official boyfriend and smiles sheepishly.

"No need to get flustered. Having a boyfriend is no different from having a girlfriend," Natsuya comments casually.

Rin still does not meet Natsuya's gaze.

"You're joking."

Rin shakes his head.

"You're joking!" Natsuya repeats himself. "That Russian coach slandered me for not having muscles as amazing as yours. I figured a hottie like yourself would be picking up girls and guys left and right!"

"Well, I guess I'm just more focused on my studies," Rin mutters while trying to hide an oncoming blush by leaning his face in his hand.

"You mean swimming."

"Yes. Swimming."

Natsuya grins. "So, I guess I'll be seeing you and your family Sunday evening?"

"Uh, actually, my sister wanted to meet you sooner. So... how does tomorrow, same place, same time sound?"

"Fine. But only if I take you to meet my family too."

ALJFALKDJf I rushed to get this out lol. I just absolutely adore NatsuRin AND IsuGou, but there's barely any content for either ship. So then I decided I would create that content myself. This is only partially edited, and I will probably go back and add more on to this one-shot. Eh, is it really a one-shot when I'm planning on writing at least one more chapter to this? Anyways, I'm bad at outros...
