~Valentine's Day~

Gon's POV:
I have been away from home for 6 months now. It has been hard to be so far away from home. Especially not being able to see Killua. We have been calling and texting constantly but that isn't nearly enough.

Today, I'm going to surprise him for Valentine's Day! I told him I wouldn't be able to make it, but of course, I was just bluffing.

~Flashback To A Few Days Before~

3rd Person POV:

"Sorry Killua, I won't be able to make it home for Valentine's Day. I really hope you can forgive me! I just got a notice a few hours ago that i will be needed to work on Valentine's Day." The two males could hear each other through their newly bought phones.

"O-Oh... yeah don't worry, it's fine! I was really looking forward to seeing you but I guess I can wait a little longer..." Killua said with a sad chuckle. He felt as if someone had stabbed him in his heart with 10 sharp knives.

"I'm really sorry baby. I promise I'll try and make it up to you! I have to go, love you!" Gon felt bad for tricking Killua into thinking he wouldn't be able to make it home. He tried to distract that guilt he felt with the fact he would see Killua's happy face once he got home. Still, he didn't like lying to him. Not one bit.

"Alright. Love you. Talk to you later..." Killua said while trying to hold back his tears from flowing out.

~Flashback Over~

Back To Gon's POV:
A few hours left before I get to see Killua! I have been working on fixing a new land with Ging for 6 months. I was really happy when Ging asked me to help him. I couldn't deny his offer. Though, that ment separating from my dear boyfriend, Killua. I really didn't like being away from him, but this was a huge opportunity for me. But Finally, I am back on Whale Island!

Me and Killua decided to get a house here since it was peaceful and my home land, of course. I'm so happy Killua agreed to buy a house and live with me. I love him to death, and I wanna show him how much he means to me. I am going to propose to him today.

30 Minutes Later:
"Welcome to Shiny Gems, how may I assist you on this lovely day?" A woman with blonde hair, who looked fairly young, announced joyfully.

"Hello, I would like to buy an engagement ring" I said while shutting the door behind me as I walked through the many beautiful rocks.

"Alright sir, any in particular you like?" The woman asked as she pointed to the display of rings they had.

"Hmm, aha! This one. I would like this one please" I pointed to a ring with a beautiful, medium sized diamond in the middle of a silver ring. (Sorry, I don't know much about engagement rings... or rings in general-)

"Alrighty then! Would you like anything else?" The woman grabbed the ring and gave it to me to examine.

"Actually, I have a request..."

~After Buying The Rings~
"Alright, I got the rings! It's currently 1:00 P.M. I have to be home by 4:00 P.M. so that I Can purpose at 6:00 P.M. Alright, shouldn't be that hard" I said to myself while walking to a local market. 'I gotta get a few things before I go though'

Killua's POV:
It is finally Valentine's Day. It's 1 pm but it feels as if the day is almost over. I haven't changed out of the clothes I slept with. I have one of Gon's shirts that he left here, some really short shorts, and some really cute cat socks. 'I miss Gon so much!'
