Twelve: Reign Part 1

WE ARE NOW at the lobby of this hotel where the murder was done. Lahat ng mga taong saksi sa pagkahulog ni Dean Reign mula sa pagkataas-taas na hagdan ay inilipat rito.

I am still with Science Teacher and he seemed not happy on what happened. Silly me, who would feel happy that someone died. Miss Melda and the husband was out of sight. I think they are being interrogated.

"Napakabait ni Madam Reign para mamatay nang napaka-aga. Hindi man lang niya nasilayan ang kanyang magiging apo." a guy said in my back. When I turn I saw the man that is working here. Iyong pilay na matanda.

"Manong, sa tingin niyo po ba ay isa kina Sir Bernal at Miss Melda ang nagtulak kay Dean Reign?" one of the teacher said.

"Sana ay hindi na lamang. Dahil kilala ko sila, hindi nila magagawa ang bagay na iyon." he replied. After he said those things, he was called by a policeman.

When Dean Reign fell, we saw the husband and Miss Melda upstairs. Malakas ang kutob ko na may kinalaman ang dalawang iyon sa nangyari. Errrr, I want to know the truth but we are stuck here.

"Are you okay, New Teacher?" Science Teacher asked.

"No, I want to get out of here and join the investigation." I replied.

"Hindi ito show, just so you know, Miss. Don't mess up please. Lagot ako sa kakambal ko kung sakaling mapasok ka sa isang gulo. Tsk."

"As if namang hindi ko kaya ang sarili ko. Let's go. Let us join them in their investigation." I said and he let me to pull him. Pakipot.

"Napakakulit mo. Do you really think that the policemen will allow us to interfere?"

"We can at least try. Sisilip lang naman tayo eh, Sir. Let's go!" hinila ko siya ulit at nagpahila naman ito.

When we arrived in crime scene, Sir Bernal is crying. Kasama niya roon si Miss Melda na hinahaplos ang kanyang likuran. Nakapaikot naman ang iba sa isang sulok ng dining hall.

Papasok sana ako rito nang harangan kami ng dalawang pulis.

"Miss, bawal pumasok dito." that policeman said.

"Ahhh sir, may sasabihin lang ako dun kay Sir Bernal. Kasama niya kami." I told them.

"Hindi po talaga pwede, Miss."

Napasimangot ako. I want to peek. Nakakainis. Hinila naman ako ng kasama ko sa isang sulok.

"I told you already. Miss, hindi tayo pwede doon. You're so stubborn." he said. I rolled my eyes 360 degrees so that he will know that I don't want what happened. Kung makasermon ay parang nanay. Tsk.

"I am not informed that you are this stubborn, Miss New Teacher. I am also not informed that you have this attitude. Rolling your eyes on me, huh?" he said.

"I also have a toxic side, Sir Science Teacher. I said that I want to go there and I will be there." I said with a fiery eyes. He heaved a sigh then he get his phone. Nagtipa ito ng numero.

"Count this as my compassion to your curious butt. Remember this, you cannot be this cute in front of me again." he said.

I chuckled. So am I cute this way? Siya'y nag-aadik. But the thought that he is doing something to feed my stubbornness, I really appreciate him.

[Hello? Who's this?]

"Where are you?"

[Idiot! Why are you answering my question a question?]

Science teacher sighed. Sino ba ang kausap nito?

"Fine. This is Science teacher. Where are you?"
