Diluc's little brother

The first time Diluc snapped at Yuki pt.2

Author pov:

After what happened in the tavern, Yuki started avoiding his brother, Kaeya made sure Dulic doesn't get close to Yuki saying something along the side of "you'r not worthy enough to be his brother" or " if you find him useless then don't come near him" that thing really broke Dulic heart.

The tavern was closed for a week now, Dulic didn't feel like serving people now, he was looking for his brother to apologize, but whenever he finds him Kaeya is always there to shoot him a glare and takes his brother and go.

Even when Yuki is alone, when Dulic comes to him he just walks away while muttering " i'm useless why bother looking for me?" and he manages to run away before Dulic gets the chance to apologize.

Dulic really missed up, the one who loves him, the one he loved and adored hated him, if he had the power to go to the past, he would just tell himself to not say anything.

What should he do now? probably everyone hates him now, he doesn't give a shit about everyone, but what abut his brother? the only one who loved him and looked up to him hated him. He wished he could just back what he just said.

He is  currently looking for his brother in hope he would catch him this time.

He wasn't able to sleep for weeks, he just can't sleep without knowing his brother is safe, he needed him.

Its night, and he is worried he would find him just walking around mondstadt, where is he now?

Diluc could feel himself getting worried more than usual, he never felt this feeling before.

He decided to get out of mondstadt, to go look for bennett maybe he knows where he is right? he pray to the gods to make sure his brother is okay.

Meanwhile with Yuki:

Yuki was seen, setting on zhongli lap crying in his chest, while zhongli was rubbing his back slowly, and whispering little and quiet 'shh' childe was in a chair next to them ruffling the boy hair with a worried look.

He just came and ran to zhongli and hugged him while crying and saying everything that happened, after a few minutes childe came in but his mood made a 180° flip and came and pulled a chair and sat next to them.

And here we are, Yuki pulled his face a little from zhongli chest and wiped his tears, and rested half of his face on zhongli chest while looking at childe and playing with his thumb he mumbled " I want nii-chan... but he hates me, i'm useless to him now, I just don't know what I did" new tears started forming in his eyes, before anything could happen childe took the child from zhongli'd hold and hugged him.

" Yuki listen here kid, your not useless, i'm sure your brother was angry or something, take this sentence out of your head, he loves you okay" the child nodded and returned the hug after a while light snores could be heard, both males smiled at the sleeping child.

" We should put return him to his brother" childe said looking at the sleeping child face, he wiped his tears and sighed a little, zhongli answered " No, its pretty late now, I will let him sleep with me today, you go I'm going to take care of him" childe bit his good bye and left.

Zhongli took the now sleeping child to his bedroom (imagine he has one) and changed his clothes, he gave him one of his shirts and putted him to bed, before he left the room, he raised the kids hair that was on forehead and kissed his forehead, a small giggle could be heard.

Zhongli smiled and took the child old clothes to go and wash them, by the door he took one glance at the child and left. He felt lucky he met the child that day.

Back with Diluc:

He reached liyuee after bennett told him he didn't see his brother for a whole week, Diluc was currently running around, asking people if he saw them most of them either questioned 'who?' or 'no we didn't' till he reached Katheryne, he remembers how his brother says he always helps her with adventure guild stuff.

He asked her the same question he asked everyone "Have you seen Yuki?" "Yuki? ah! that sweet boy, yeah! why sir?" only for her to get a 'he is my brother' from Diluc she pointed to zhongli house is liyuee and said " he is in there, I saw him running in there and he seemed like he was crying and he had a few bandages, on his arms and ankles" Diluc eyes widened and he said a quick 'thanks!' and went running there, Katheryne blinked and said "uh your welcome?".

Once Diluc was close he slowed down, he placed both of his hands on knees and managed to catch his breath, he fixed his hair and knocked on the door.

Zhongli was confused 'who would knock at this time?' he thought he went and opened the door to find Diluc, he guessed he came to take brother.

Before Diluc could say anything zhongli spoke first  " I'm going to go fetch your brother, give me a second please" Diluc just waited as promised Zhongli came back with his brother peacefully asleep, Diluc smiled a little but the returned back to normal.

" Thank you for taking care of my brother for me" Diluc bowed and took his brother zhongli bit him his goodbye and returned, Diluc looked at his brother and hugged him real tight while muttering " thank god your safe" he sat on the ground while hugging his brother.

A few tears escaping his eyes, at this point his brother woke up with a yawn, he looked at around for a while till his eyes met Diluc, his pair of red eyes widened and he hugged Diluc and managed to says between sobs "Nii-chan!!" Diluc chuckled and hugged his brother back he was too happy.

Unknown to them zhongli was watching them both with a smile on his face, he was glad the brother's relationship went back to normal, he couldn't stand seeing the child eyes with tears, nor the older panicked face, it really pained him, but now he was glad.
