Stepping Foot Into This Place Called School!

It was finally the day.

The day everyone was NOT looking forward to, not even Emma, not even Lannion or Thoma and that was saying something BIG.

Everyone got up and ate breakfast and it was time for me to choose who I wanted to go with. I thought about it all night long since ghosts don't need to sleep and in the end I chose Ray.

Why?

I can't have him burning the school down on the first day, that's why.

Ignoring any jokes I can at least trust Norman, Phil, Emma, Don, and Gilda to be somewhat normal and civil but Ray? No way.

So now here I am just chilling in the back of this thing they call a 'car'. It was really big and a pretty white, which seems a bit weird since it's always white white white with these Ratri people. Also since I read about cars in books and never got see one in person it was really weird. Like how would it even get us from one place to another? Then I saw this dude push a key into this hole and basically unlocked the car. It was a bit loud and then all these lights came on behind the wheel they were holding. It was really cool!

But now I'm floating between Ray and Don and everyone was staring like crazy at us. Or them since they couldn't see ghost me.

"Who are they?" Some random kid asked. I looked over and sucked in a breath. Why was he wearing all black?! It's better than wearing all white, that's for sure, but all black?! Why one color? This time Mike came with us and he walked everyone in to this office to meet someone called 'the principal.' After talking to the really pretty lady at the front desk, I was playing with her curly hair, I couldn't help it, fight me, this other lady walked out in a suit. She led everyone into her office and closed the door.

MY.

FACE.

I couldn't believe it.

I was super duper insulted that she'd just slam a door in my face but joke's on her! Doors can't keep me out! I floated through the door and looked around, peeping at the candy and this one machine I heard Mike say was a 'water dispenser.' It was big and white and apparently you put water in this gigantic jug and then plop it on top. Then you pushed a button and water wooshes out! I flicked the button but my finger just went through and I was sad. Danggit, I can't do any ghosty things if I can't even touch a dumb button!

"Mr. Ratri it's so nice to see you again!"

"Of course Mrs. Holly. These are the children I was talking about." He said gesturing to Emma and the rest of them.

"Oh! They look so nice!" So far this Mrs. Holly seems really nice and honest. I mean who could say they looked bad?

Norman was wearing a white shirt with a brown vest and black pants, Ray had a black hoodie and jeans on, Emma was wearing a yellow hoodie with white skinny jeans, Don wore a red shirt and black jacket with white pants, Nat had a red and black stripped shirt with jeans, Anna had a white and pink dress, and Gilda was wearing a light yellow shirt with a white cardigan and a light mint green skirt.

"Here are their schedules and if they need any help ask any teacher or staff member and we'd be happy to!" Mrs. Holly said giving Mike a couple of sheets of papers. Mike smiled and thanked her and we all went out. He handed everyone a piece of paper.

"Good luck and have fun!" Mike said as he left.

Oh boy this is going to be a day.
