Forgotten?

I get out of my bed and walk through the hall of my apartment- that I share with my boyfriend, Sykkuno- and go to the kitchen. I have to stream in a bit, so I'm grabbing water to drink during the stream.

Once I've gotten my water, I walk to my recording room to get ready for the stream. 

By 5:00 pm, I'm ready to get started. My monitor's on, the game's updated and ready to play.

I join the discord call, and nobody else is on. I wait for my friends to join, although 10 minutes pass and it's already 5:10 pm.

My first instinct is to text the discord chat to see what's going on and why no one's joining, so that's what I do.

'Is anyone joining the call so we can play?'

Eventually, I give up and leave the call. Were we not playing at 5:00? Are we playing some other day? It's 20 past 5:00, so they should've joined by now if we were to play today.

I sigh in disappointment and turn off my pc monitor. I walk to my room and lay in bed.

I grab my phone and scroll through Twitter. My fans are trying to get my song 'E-girls are ruining my life' on a billboard in times square by getting the most likes on a Twitter comment.

An hour passes by when I hear a knock on my door, "Hey, Corpse, why are you not playing among us?" I glance at him quickly, then ignore him.

I can tell that it made him sad, but I don't care, because he made me really sad.

"What happened, baby?"

He lays down on top of me, then wraps me in his arms.

"You guys left me on the call alone for 20 minutes..." He looks down, in disappointment, not in me, but in himself.

"We're sorry, we were playing valorant but the game lasted longer than we expected."

I nod my head, and he gives me a peck on the cheek. "Do you want to play now?" I shake my head, no, and hug him tight.

"Stay," I whisper.

He complies and stays wrapped in my arms the rest of the night, forgetting that his stream was left on. Nobody ended up playing among us because they were waiting for Sykkuno to get back, and for me to join.

I got the inspiration for this yesterday when Sykkuno and co. were playing valorant and it lasted longer than expected so they joined among us late. Even though everyone knew the reason why they were late, I felt like this would be a good plot.
