"Megan, hurry up or we're gonna be late!" My best friend, Aria, yelled. I zip up my suitcase and rush out the door and down the stairs.
"Sorry." I mumble the apology as I throw my bag in the trunk of Aria's black Fiat.
"Well, let's get going. We've got to get to America before sundown." She smiled as she started the car. Driving onto the highway towards the Airport.
I smile so wide that it hurts. Me and Aria were finally fulfilling our dreams. We're leaving England to go to America. Why? Three words. The Vampire Diaries.
Aria and I have been watching since the first episode aired. I mean, yeah, they had just started season 3, but we are the biggest fan girls ever.
We're going to one of those tour things to see where they filmed. Maybe we'll even see some of the cast. That would be a real dream come true.
I look over at Aria and admire her dark brown hair and brown eyes. Her smile still as bright as the night her parents gave us the plane tickets. I look at the road again before I pull down the mirror above my head.
Looking into my dark brown, almost black, eyes. I run my fingers through my chocolate brown colored hair. I fix my red head band and apply my vanilla chapstick.
I push the mirror back up and see that we are in the Airport's parking lot. Aria finds a spot and parks the car next to a red motorcycle. We hop out and grab our bags.
We smile at each other as we walk into the Airport. We go through security and show them our passports, as well as our ID's.
Finally, we make it to the Gare, B5. Only 4 minutes until they start boarding. Aria and I sit near the door, waiting until they call Group A to board.
"If we see the cast, who would you be most excited to see?" Aria asked me.
"Probably...... Ian Somerhalder. I mean Damon is like a god. How 'bout you?"
"Steven R McQueen. Jeremy has such a kind and sweet heart." She smiled and we laugh.
"Calling Group A to board. Group A will now be boarding." A lady announced. Aria and I hop up and get in line. We hand the lady our tickets and then we get on the plane.
We sit in the front seats and buckle up, huge grins still on our faces. Hearts beating out of our chests. Impatience running through our veins. Obsession going around our heads.
"Look at us. 17 and fulfilling our dreams." Aria exclaimed as the flight attendant tells everyone how to use the air mask and life vests.
The plane starts to move and zoet grabs my hand. We close our eyes and then I feel a pit in my stomach. Aria must've felt it too, because she squeezed my hand.
When I open my eyes, I look out the window. I take Aria's hand and shake her. I point to the window when her eyes open.
"Oh my god! We're flying." Her eyes widen and I smile.
We lean back against our seats and sigh. I feel mye us start to get heavy. I'm still really tired. Its okay, considering that our flight was at 4:00 a.m.
"Hey, wake me up when we land." I said and zoey nodded.
I close my eyes and I'm instantly in a dream. A crazy wonderful dream.
I know its a little short, but trust me they get longer and better. I'm so glad that you've decided to read Dreams Awakened. Please don't forget to
