In The Stars / E. Kirishima

IT WAS A SATURDAY FOR THE STUDENTS AT U.A. Not wanting to be in the dorms for long they all decided it would be nice to go out.

Everyone was conflicted on where to go together but in the end went with the mall. It was warmer out so every was wearing their preferred styles that fit the weather.

As the class walked around the mall they all slip off into their respected groups. That saying Kirishima was walking next to the leader of his group.

They entered a store for Mina to look around in with Kaminari helping her. The other three just stood by and watched.

With it being a trinket store Kirishima's eyes caught onto something that peaked his interest. He walked over to it and picked it up.

The trinket was a book, but not just any book. It was a book about stars. He instantly thought of y/n.

"In the stars? l/n would like this!"

Bakugou overheard his red headed friend talking to himself and told Sero he'd be back. "What'd you say about y/n?"

Hearing the gruff voice started Kirishima and jumped when he heard it. "Dude when did you get here?!"

"Just now dumbass! Now what'd you say about y/n?!" He asked in a harsher tone.

The way he asked it made Kirishima think there was more going on between the two, but that wasn't case at all.

Bakugou only wanted what was best for his friend. She had gone through so much and he didn't want her getting hurt. Knowing Kirishima wanted to be her friend scared him.

He noticed him going to see y/n a few more times. Bakugou only played it off as him wanting to know her more.

Not only would this result in Bakugou losing someone he cared for in the end but Kirishima as well. He only wanted to be there for the both of them when things go downhill.

Doing that meant making sure the boys intentions were good.

"I found this book about stars. And the last time I went to see l/n she told me how much she liked stars." He showed the book to Bakugou.

He looked over the inside looking through the pictures of constellations words and more. "She has a shit tone of shit about stars... but I haven't seen something like this." He handed to book back to him.

"That's awesome, then I can give it to her. She'll love it!" Kirishima cheered them pumped his fists in the air.

Bakugou scoffed "It's a fucking book not a damn diamond." He walked to the register with Kirishima behind him.

"I know that but I just want to give her something she likes. She'll know I thought of her when I saw it."

The ash blond turned to him and glared. Taking what he said the wrong way.

"Idiot... don't pity her. She hates that shit." Bakugou took the book and the money Kirishima had in his hand and gave it to the man at the register.

As the man was checking them out Kirishima look to Bakugou with sadness in his eyes. "I wouldn't pity her. Thats not the reason man, I already told you I think she's strong!"

The man put the book in the bag and gave it to the teen "Whatever."

Bakugou walked away from the conversation with hand in his pockets but his friend ran after him. The rest of the group seemed to be done shopping and already waiting outside the store.

As they walked with each other Kirishima walked next to the person who he needed to talk with.

"Listen I understand what your going through and how you want to protect her... but she'll be fine on her own." Bakugou side glanced at what he said.

"Yeah I know that. Just don't try any funny shit or I will kill you." He said when they excited the mall.

Kirishima nodded his head towards the grumpy teen and went back to a normal conversation. When the turn came for the hospital and the school Kirhsima parted ways.

He walked away without knowing his friend were talking about him.

"Where is he going?" Kaminari asked Mina. She only shrugged at his words and turned to Bakugou.

He growled at them then answered "He's going to see my friend again." The others looked with curiosity.

"You mean the girl?" Sero pondered. Bakugou nodded and walked further ahead of them.

They all went along with it and followed him. All thinking about who this mystery girl could be and what Kirishima wanted to see her for.

Deciding not to dwell on it too much they started a new conversation about the latest movies they wanted to see.

Bakugou ignored them the whole time.

On the other side of the path was a redhead walking closer to his wanted destination. He was wondering why his hands were so sweaty.

Was be really that hot?

The lady at the desk recognized him and let him though to see y/n. He walked the familiar hall with few people around.

When he came to her door and slowly opened it.

"Hey Kiri, c'mon in!"

I'm trying to make it painfully clear that Bakugou does not have feelings for you. He's just over protective and is scared about the future. I only want him to see us as a best friend and I put the gf thing in there because it though it would make the relationship better.
