A.N. So I read "Archangel Perseus" by Remvis and now I just love the idea of Percy being an Angel. So, yea, this is the same concept as that story, just in a different way. Go check out their story.
In the Beginning, there was one being. This being was one made up of power. And it was lonely. So, it decided to experiment. It collected some dust and squeezed it together. When he removed it's "hands" there was an orb made entirely of gas. And it was bright. Like really bright.
The entity made some rocky smaller orbs to orbit around the bigger orb. He created life and put it on one of them. It took a look back at it's creation and felt proud of itself. But it seemed that in his excitement, he didn't create what he intended to. It was still lonely.
So, he made a place. It was what the humans would call a city in the future. It was silver, and it was magnificent. He created life to inhabit this city. He called them Angels. They were flaming rings with wings and 6 eyes. But they often took the form of humans with wings on their back.
Then he decided he needed some Angels to protect Heaven and humanity. So he made some. But he called them Archangels. Michael, Gabriel, Lucifer, Raphael, and Perseus. They were under him in power, but still more than normal Angels. And Angels were really powerful.
Michael got the armies of Heaven.
Raphael got the power of healing and one of the most important things. Emotions. He wouldn't be the only Archangel to get one as we will soon see.
Lucifer got the key to unlock darkness, which would soon corrupt him.
Gabriel got the power of strength to help enforce his fathers will on the world.
And finally, Perseus. He was to be considered the most powerful Archangel. He didn't just get powers. He got absolute control over the Universe. The entirety of Outer Space. The entity wanted someone he could trust to keep everything in order.
On Earth, he created a concept. The concept of divinity. He created pagan gods. The most powerful being the Greeks. They were powerful, but nowhere close to Angels.
The primordials were eventually overthrown by the Titans. It was at this point that the entity, that humans had begun to call God, called Perseus up to his throne room. "Hey son. I'm gonna pop out of the house for a little bit. So I just wanted to tell you a few things. Number 1. The Titans on Earth are going to be in a war with their children, the gods. I need you to help out the gods. Number 2. I need you to watch over humanity. Namely, the sun and moon. Without those being managed, humanity will fall into anarchy. Good luck son."
"But that's already my job?" Percy asked confused.
"I know, but I mean the pagan deities that will control the Sun and Moon." God said with a knowing glint in his 'eyes'.
For years, Perseus waited for the Titanomachy. And finally, it came. And wow, what a war it was. Ten years of fighting with Perseus working in the background. Until the very end. The siege of Mt. Orthys.
It was not Zeus' bolt that destroyed the palace as many believed, but Perseus, throwing a comet into the palace. It was very destructive to the palace and surrounding areas, but the real damage was to the atmosphere. Which Perseus fixed with a literal snap of his fingers.
The 6 children of Rhea and Kronos met on the highest mountain, which was highest because an "unknown" force destroyed mt. Orthys. This mountain would be called Olympus. They met there to celebrate their victory. In the middle of their celebration, right when they were about to draw lots to decide their domains, a bright divine white light formed in the middle of their throne room.
