"And the winner is........."

The numbers on the screen stopped and everyone was shocked by the outcome.

"Fūsoku has the most votes!!"

Everyone cheered except for the girls. The votes for Quartet Night was 734, while the votes for Fūsoku was 759.

"Only 25 votes off........" Priscilla mumbled

Allison was depressed as her hair covered her face, "They......... lost........"

Jennifer frowned, "I thought they'd win."

"Psh, that sucks." Kyoko sighed

Ginger crossed her arms, "And they worked so hard on that song too........."

Jayleen bit her lip, "They should've been the ones that won........"

The members of Quartet Night kept their head down and walked off the stage as Fūsoku kept getting loud cheers from the audience for an éncore.

Quartet Night's Pov.

Reiji, Camus, Ranmaru, and Ai didn't say anything to each other when they got off stage and went backstage.

They walked back to their own dressing rooms without a word coming out of their mouths.

"Damn it!" Ranmaru punched the wall in anger and huffed

Ai changed his clothes and put on his regular outfit with a monotonous expression on his face.

Camus grit his teeth as he covered his eyes with one hand and thought about how they lost the Uta Pri.

Reiji slammed his hands down on the table and looked down, "We worked hard and this is what we get??"

Aurora★Light's Pov.

The girls looked at each other worryingly when the guys haven't come out of their dressing rooms yet.

"You think they're alright in there?" Kyoko asked worryingly

Ginger bit her lip, "They might need some space for a while though........"

Allison pouted, "But I wanna see Rei-chan right now!"

"Hey! Wait, Alice!" Jennifer tried to catch her from running away but failed to do so

The girls tried to run after her, but in the end, they all got separated from each other.

Kyoko's Pov.
"Are you kidding me?" Kyoko sighed, "How were we able to get separated???"

She walked around the halls and looked around her and spotted something.

There was a door that said, "Kurosaki Ranmaru." In a gold plating

Kyoko widened her eyes, "Ran.....maru..."

She bit her lip and decided to go for it. Knocking on the door, she waited until he opened the door for her.

"Get out!" Ranmaru yelled out from inside

Kyoko was surprised and took a deep breath, "But it's me....... Kyoko........"

There was a long silence and she heard footsteps approach the door and as the door opened, Ranmaru was on the other side.

She gasped when she saw his face. It was all worn out and red.

"Ranmaru, are you alright?" Kyoko asked in almost a whisper

He pulled her inside and shut the door behind her, which surprised Kyoko.
