It was time to escape. It was around 2am we couldn't break the cells because it was protected with electricity so I try something I never tried before. I only saw my dad used it once.
"Kai cover your ears" I whispered.
"Why?" He asked. This man asked too much question.
"Do what I say!" I whisper yelled.
He covered his ears and I closed my eyes. I remember the melody my dad sang that time and I sang it. I opened my eyes and the two guards were in front of the cells mesmerized by my song.
I ordered the one guard I know to open the door and he did it. I told them to stay put. I took Kai's hand and dragged him out of the cell. I know my way around here but he doesn't. I went to the kitchen and go through the back door where the trash was.
I didn't anticipate the fact there could be a guard there he was about to sound the alarm when Nova shift and ripped his throat. I was right about the killing... it was so easy for him.
We ran through the forest. I was starting to get tired because it's been a while since I didn't run like that. Nova stopped and shifted. Kai was naked in front of me! "Good Lord!" I exclaimed. He chuckled and said "I can't communicate with you when I shift. I know a herb that can mask our scent! We'll use it then I'll shift you will then climb on my back and I'll carry you"
"Okay but why do we need to hide our scent?" I asked. Then I felt stupid realizing why.
"You just told me someone close to me betrayed me. It's definitely a werewolf. I don't want them to track us." He said rubbing the herb on me.
My eyes never left his face because I didn't want to see his private part.
"Where will we stay we can't go back to where you lived"
"Don't worry I have somewhere no one knows about... not even my parents." He said with a smile. I nodded and he shifted back into his beast.
"Nova you're so handsome! I didn't have the chance to tell you this before" I could feel the pride emanating from him. He gave me a wolf grin and I climbed on his back.
His fur was white and so soft! I could fall asleep on him. He ran for about three hours the sun was about to rise. He never stopped running and he doesn't look tired at all. He's really a beast!
We arrived near a water fall and he went directly through it. I screamed thinking we would collide into a big rock or the back of a cave but it was nothing like I imagined. We were in a forest.

He slowed down and let me down. He shift and smirked at me when he saw my expression.
"It's beautiful Kai!" I said with excitement! I never been outside in fifteen years.
