Happy Valentines Day for those who celebrate it! This is just a cute one-off thing I came up with on the fly, so if you like soft Draco here you go. I'm trying to keep the history with Y/N vague so you can fill in the blanks! I've never read Cursed Child though so I'm totally blind-eyeing it. Take this as an AU of sorts.

Also yes this is adult Draco cause, long haired Draco hits different. (˵ᵕ̴᷄ ᗜ ᵕ̴᷅˵)

It was several years after the second wizarding war; Life had settled down and everyone had seemingly went on with their lives.

Y/N L/N was spending the crisp Valentines afternoon in Hogsmeade, as she'd recently went through a breakup with another professor and she didn't want to face anyone in the moment. She'd rather just be left alone. On today of all days, too...

She made her way to the Three Broomsticks, admiring the decorations and enjoying the warmth as she stepped inside. A few students were staring in her direction, but she ignored it and sat down at the bar.

The pub still had it's warm, earthy tones, but with delicately placed splashes of pinks and whites. Flower arrangements on each table, a few also decorating the bar. There was a charm placed in the area that made the air seem like it was sparkling, which added a lovely and romantic effect to the scene. 

"Hello darling." The bartender mused, already making her a drink before she even had to order, "How is teaching F/C going? It's been a while since you've came in!"

She couldn't help but smile, it seemed the workers here were at least still good at small talk. "Fine, the students are all lovely." Y/N paused for a moment before adding, "Can you make that extra strong?"

"Rough day today?"

"You could say that."

"Was it F/P? I noticed you came in here alone."

She sighed and nodded, taking the drink as its handed to her and taking a large gulp. "He said he didn't see anything coming out of this."

"Oh..." The bartender frowned. "I'm sorry. I knew you had your problems, but I didn't know it was that bad."

"Neither did I. Shit happens, as the students love to say." Y/N giggled, more to herself, as she finished off the drink and silently waved for another.
