I remember i remember
Watching the sky full of stars
Thinking we could be friends?
I didn't have many worries
I was full of belief and conviction
Thinking this little feather would become my wings and make me fly to the sky to meet my friends
The sky was the limit
But little did i know
What would i become
Thinking about the times
I would be taller
Wanting to be an adult
But what now?
The dreams came true or did they?
I am taller now but can i reach up to the sky to meet my little friends?
Was it just an illusion or is it all real?
Where is that smiling child admiring her friends?
Here she is
Thinking why didn't they come to meet her
Or did they too become adults?
