"Everyone! It's time to get going to our new home!" Golfball yelled.
There was a crowd around the docks, waiting to get on the boat. Golfball let them on one by one and Tennisball did a head count.
"I count 63 objects here." Tennisball says to Golfball.
"Wait, we're missing someone." Golfball looks at the docks. Leafy was standing there, smiling.
"Hey guys! I'm so excited to get to move to a new place! Yoyle City is cool, but somewhere else does sou-" Leafy got cut off my Golfball.
"Leafy, we can't let you on board."
"W-what!? But you let everybody else on!" Leafy had felt this feeling before. Being the only one rejected. Being the only one who wasn't allowed to have fun.
"Sorry, but we still can't let you on. We don't trust you. No one does. Just accept it."
Firey was watching them argue, and with every sentence more and more guilt washed over him. He remembered letting everyone onto Dream Island. He remembered what he said to Flower.
"Flower I still think you're a jerk but you can come in too."
Firey shook his head and looked over at Coiny. He was looking at the fighting too. Firey decided to talk to him to get Leafy off of his mind.
-A few minutes later-
"Alright everyone! We are ready to go!" Golfball started the boat. She thought she had solved the Leafy problem. She thought there would be no more Leafy. But, little did she know, Leafy had snuck onto the ship.
Meanwhile, Firey wasn't having the best day. He felt so guilty, he should've helped Leafy. But instead he just watch as she got rejected... again... when everyone else was allowed on... Bad memories flowed through his brain. Bad memories he hoped he would never have to think about.
"Wow Firey, that was- that was- that was amazing! On another note I can't wait to see Dream Island."
"Well Leafy but I don't think I can let you in."
"What!? But you let everyone else in! Even Coiny!"
"Leafy, when you rode my Ferris wheel you said; 'Get me out of this thing!' That really hurt me deep down inside."
"You better be joking Firey!"
"Leafy you don't understand! That Ferris wheel I made it for myself but more importantly I made for you and you just rejected it!"
"Firey I don't believe this."
"I'm sorry Leafy but now I see the truth. You are a mean person, and I do not believe you should be let onto Dream Island."
"Firey! Firey!"
Firey had zoned out, and now Coiny was yelling at him.
"Ah! Oh, h-hey Coiny. What do you need..?"
"You've been standing there just blankly staring off into the distance! You're lucky I didn't slap you."
Firey smiled a little. Good ol' Coiny. He thought.
"Anyways, me, Pin, Snowball, Blocky, Pen and Eraser were all going to play truth or dare. Wanna join?" Coiny asked Firey.
"Sure! Why not!" The memories of Dream Island and Leafy finally got off Firey's mind.
"All right! Let's go!" Coiny grabbed Firey's hand and started running towards where they were playing.
"Wow Firey, you're light." Coiny said as they made it to their friends.
"Well, I am literal fire, so of course I'm light!" Firey laughed a little.
"Took you long enough." Snowball just wanted to play truth or dare already.
"Oh shut up Snowball." Blocky jokingly said.
"Alright! Let's play truth or dare now!" Firey said with excitement. The friends started playing, there was a lot of laughter, screams, Firey even died at one point because Coiny thought it was a good idea for him to jump off the boat. Although it looked like all the regret and guilt had gone away from Firey, it was still there. It was like he was a happy puzzle but with a piece missing. Firey hid the truth really well, but it was hard. And that was only the beginning. What felt like a small piece of the puzzle missing, more and more would start to feel missing. And it all started going downhill when they got to their new home.
