Forty-One

Dara was dumbfounded and could not say a word. She became mute all of a sudden. Her heartbeat started to rise and she could not breathe properly.

Jiyong waited for her to say something but was disappointed. He then sadly shook his head and said. "I guess I overthink everything. I was hoping that after what has happened to us that there would be a slight chance of us staying together as a real married couple this time."

Dara was still quiet. She is still analyzing the whole situation that they are in. Finally, she asked. "W...what about the woman you supposedly want to be with even before we got married? Aren't you both still together?"

Jiyong looked at her full of complication "I..." he doesn't know how to explain to her his feelings for Yu-Na. It's true that he still has feelings for her or so he thought.

Dara nodded her head and quietly said. "That is what I thought." she then got up and left the room. Jiyong was left in a dazed.

As Jiyong was driving to pick up Yu-Na he decided to talk to her to end their relationship. After Dara left him this morning he thought about a lot of things. He realized that he is no longer in love with Yu-Na and that the person he wants to be with is his wife.

"Sweetie! Good, you are here." she went ahead and took his lips with hers as she pulled him closer and gave him a craving kiss. "Let's go we are late," she said after a while not noticing that he didn't return the same kiss to her. She pulled him out of her apartment towards the elevator. As soon as the elevator closed she started hooking her arms around his neck for another kiss.

This time he tried to avoid her as if he feels apprehensive towards her which he has never felt before. Jiyong started to unhook her arms from his neck trying not to be too obvious. "Not here. People might feel uncomfortable when they see us like this."

Yu-Na did not think that he is trying to avoid her, and so she continued to be flirty and all. "Sweetie, I missed you so much. How come you did not come yesterday? Isn't it the weekend is supposed to our time?"

"Didn't we just spent the whole week together? You know that I needed to go home and rest because I have a meeting tomorrow," he said a little bit annoyed with her. They walked towards the elevator and as soon as the door closes Yu-Na started hooking her arms around Jiyong's neck again and started kissing his neck. Jiyong had to control himself not to give in and had to remind himself that he's now married and that he's in love with his wife. "C'mon we're almost to the ground parking level and we need to get outta here." he was saying as he unhooked her arms from his neck. When the elevator door opened he stepped out before her which he has never done before. But Yu-Na did not pay attention to it and just caught up with him and hooked her arm on his left elbow as they walked towards his car. He opened the passenger door for her and waited until she's completely inside before going around to the driver side. As soon as he got in the car Yu-Na pulled him close for a kiss. Jiyong was shocked at first but did not deny her kisses as he returned it without feeling it like he used to. He finally ended the kiss and did not let it to linger as he started the car.

The club was packed as always, but they had managed to get through and reached the VIP section where their friends are waiting for them to arrived. "Suli!" Yu-Na squealed as her friend joined her, then their other girlfriends joined in as well, except for one in particular, while Jiyong was greeted by his male friends.

"Oh my gosh! Is that a new Channel earring?" One of Yu-Na's friend asked her.

"Yes it is. I ordered it last week and it finally arrived yesterday and I have to pick it up with Suli." her friends were all gushing about it but there's always one person who is the complete opposite of all of them.

"Why is she here?" Yu-Na asked about the girl who is sitting watching them with an innocent smile flustered on her face.

"I didn't invite her but you know who she's with, so...I can't do anything about it otherwise my Jihoon will get mad at me if I don't invite his friend." Suli arrogantly said as are the rest of the girls.

The night went on as everyone is having a good time but Jiyong. He felt completely miserable and does not want to stay in any longer. But Yu-Na is still having fun and possibly even drunk already as he watched her danced with her friends and every single male who wants to dance with her. He also did dance with her for a while but started getting irritated afterward and so he told Yu-Na that he's too tired and does not want to dance anymore. "Sweetie, listen. I'm tired and I still have a very important meeting tomorrow. I have told you about it earlier, can we just go now?"

Instead of answering him she started grinding her body against him and hooked her arms around his neck. Jiyong tried to resist her but she wouldn't stop. He finally unclutched her arms from his neck. "We have to go. NOW!" he said firmly and snatched arms as they went back to their table to bid everyone good-bye.

"But sweetie it's still too early and I still want to have fun." Yu-Na was just a bit drunk and trying to sweet-talk Jiyong. The innocent girl who is opposite Yu-Na and her friends accidentally side-swiped her that she almost got knock over.

"Oh my...I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to..." her words were cut short as she felt a stinging sensation on her left cheek.

Yu-Na had slapped her on her face. "You b***h! You did that in purpose." She started pointing her forefinger at the innocent girl as she continued to harass her, while Jiyong was already pulling her away from the girl to stop her. But Yu-Na just won't stop as she continues to maltreat the innocent girl. "You are a nobody. You don't fit in in our circle. You are just one of those wanna be...a slut who thinks she can..." Yu-Na yelped out loud as Jiyong yanked her arm and took her away towards the outside. "Ji, sweetie. You're hurting me." Yu-Na was saying but Jiyong did not stop until he opened the passenger door for her.

"Get in." he quietly said with a trace of anger. But Yu-Na's very stubborn as she tried to take a step to go back inside the club.

"Get the f*****g in." He yelled. "Inside! Now!" this act of his frightened Yu-Na for he has never raised his voice angrily at her.
