Ch 5: The Details and Decisions

Niall's POV:

After I cleaned her face Rylan and I sat in a comfortable silence. Just me staring into her eyes and her staring back into mine. A cough brought me out of my trance and I turned to see Liam and Louis now standing in the room. Liam stepped forward some and gave Rylan a polite smile before turning back to me

"Nialler? Can we talk to you? Outside?" his voice came out soft but serious. I bit my lip and nodded before leaning down to whisper to Rylan

"I'll be right back... Oh by the way, I love your name" I then gently kiss her cheek and walk out with Louis and Liam.

As soon as the door shuts Liam speaks "So, what happened mate? Leave out NO details!" I glanced over at Lou to see his eyes wide as saucers, just as expected. I took a deep breath before beginning

"There's not really a lot to it..." I begin "We were on our way to the store, when I looked out the window I saw a girl standing on the ledge of the bridge about to jump. I demanded the driver to stop the car and I rushed to her yelling out for her not to jump. But she didn't listen and jumped. I rushed over to where she had jumped and heard a crack then a thud and looked over the ledge. The girl--" I was interrupted by Louis, of course. He turned to Liam

"She got her foot stuck Liam! Then Nialler here" he then draped his arm over my shoulder "pulled her back to safety and rushed her here! NIALL'S BATMAN LILI!!" I couldn't help but chuckle as I shook my head

"Thanks for tellin me story Lou!" I replied sarcastically and gently hit him upside the head. I then turned to Liam, waiting for him to tell me how dangerous that was and how worried he was about me like he always does. I was surprised to see the corners of his mouth turn upwards into a smile as he shook his head

"I'M Batman! But I guess you can be my Robbin" he explained before ruffling my hair. I groaned in annoyance. They like to tease me, saying I'm almost as bad as Zayn when it comes to my hair. I'm not THAT bad! I just don't like people touching my hair when I like it just the way it is. And since Rylan is in my presence I wanted to look semi decent, ya know?

Then it hit me. Rylan... Where will she go? They said they wanted to keep her overnight just to make sure there wasn't any severe damage, like a concussion. And I obviously wasn't sending her back to her live with her father. Not after I found out the truth behind him and her family life. I turned to Liam. He always has answers for this.

"Liam?" I questioned nervously, his gaze snapped away from Louis, who was laughing at something Liam said, and over to me nodding for me to continue "What about Rylan? Where will she go? I can't just send her back to her father... But she gets to leave here tomorrow... I don't think her mum is still 'round..." I bit my lip nervously, waiting for him to speak. He cleared his throat and looked back at the door.

"Well Niall... We have 2 possible choices... One is for sure a go, but the other will need to be discussed with the boys, the band, and management." he paused and looked over at me before continuing "We can either let her stay at one of our flats, while we're on tour. Or we can talk to everyone and see if we can put her on our staff... We always need more prop and music staff... We're running low." I smiled excitedly, just knowing she wouldn't have to go back to her father, and the fact that she could possibly be accompanying us on tour. I nodded my head in understanding

"Let's talk to the guys and management first... I don't wanna leave her alone... Not after I know what she's capable of" I turned to Louis "What do yeh think Lou? Would yeh mind 'avin Rylan join us?" I watched as he shrugged and rubbed the back of his neck

"At least I know her name now" he then cracked a smile "but if she's a hard worker and she gets along with everyone, why not? I mean we still have a week here in New York, right? So why not let her spend that week with us and see how she interacts with everyone? I think Lucas may like the company since Josh is always busy and doesn't really have time for him much. He'll need someone to associate and talk with while on tour right?"
