Chapter 1

~Andrew's POV~

I couldn't believe it, my birthday was tomorrow. I was finally going to turn 18 years old and it was going to be the day that I met my mate.

Oh excuse me, I'm being rude. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Andrew Wellington, and I am the son of the Alpha of the Blue Moon pack. I am next in line to be alpha. I go to Riverdale High School, in Misty Falls, Canada. I live in the pack house with the rest of the pack. I'm gay and last but not least, I'm a werewolf.

My alarm clock sounded and looked over to it and saw the time. It read in bright, red letters, 7:00. My sleepy brain took a moment to catch up when I realized how late it was and the fact that I had to get to school in less than a hour.

I jumped out of bed and rushed straight to the bathroom. I relieved myself and soon after, I take off all my clothes and jump into the shower. I make the water cold, since my body produces its own heat.

I washed my hair with my green apple shampoo and quickly rinsed it out. I had to hurry before I was late to school.

I finished my shower and got out and rushed into my room. I looked into my closet to look for clothes to wear. I picked out a black polo shirt, blue jeans, and my favorite pair of black converse shoes.

I ran a comb through my hair and styled it perfectly into a quiff.

What just because I'm a boy doesn't mean I don't have a sense of fashion.

Once I looked into my mirror and approved of my outfit, I rushed out my room with my backpack on my back.

When I went downstairs, there was basically no one there. I looked everywhere until I heard some noise in the backyard and someone shout, "Shut up."

I quickly opened the door that led to the backyard. When out onto the patio, I heard the entire pack yell, "Happy Birthday Andrew."

I jumped in the air in surprise until I remembered that today was my birthday. I was finally 18 years old and I was going to meet my mate.

"Happy Birthday Andrew," I heard my best friend, Christy, since we were kids, yell at me with enthusiasm, while she was running towards me.

Christy Waters was the daughter of the beta of this pack, the second in command basically. We became friends when one day these boys were bothering her over how chubby she was. I walked over to them and said, "At least she doesn't have to look like you." That earned me a punch to the face, but at least I got a best friend out of it.

I chuckled softly, turned to put my backpack down and turned around to catch her in my arms.

She was near me when she finally jumped into my arms. I spun us around while she squealed with excitement.

When we finally stopped spinning, she looked at me expectantly, "Do you think your going to find your mate today?"

I shrugged my shoulders at her question and replied, "I don't know if I will but hopefully it is someone I will love and who will love me back."

She nodded happy with my answer and said to me, "Let's go to school now. Don't wanna be late."

Now that she had reminded me, I completely forgot about going to going to schoool.

"Come on Christy, let's go rule the school."

She giggled happily and I picked up my backpack, put it on my back and linked hands with her, and walked back into the house, to the front door. I opened the door, and looked around. Today felt like something was about to happen. Hopefully something good does happen.
