Chapter 8: The Unexpected Stay Pt. 2

Mari stopped crying. "Here blow," said Liz. She said giving Marinette a tissue. "Thanks." she hiccuped and blew. Liz continued hugging her hearing Marinette's rants of what would Chat/Adrien think to find out she's Ladybug, and that she's pregnant with his baby. "what am I going to do-" Liz felt something. Someone... was watching them. "Shhh."

"What's wrong?" Mari mouthed.

"I think we're being watched."

She gasped. Liz activated her saber, and Mari was worried. "Who is it?"

"Shhh." Liz kept her position and opened the closet door.

"Peekaboo."

Mari woke up. She gasped, she fell asleep from her crying. Liz stayed with her all day. Adrien went out to patrol. Liz was asleep, not move. Mari sighed. She got up and went to her room. She needed fresh air, but need to sneak out without anyone looking. She went to her balcony, and transformed into her Heroic form, as she grunted using her yoyo to the Eiffel Tower. Having blue eyes wide open. "She already left."

Liz sighed. "I know."

"Well, shouldn't you go check on her?" Alexa asked.

"That's my plan." Liz suited up and used her skills. Heading towards Mari's destination. On her way she saw Chat Noir...but white? He saw Ladybug swinging to the Eiffel Tower.

"I thought I told you to rest." Chat glared at the Bug. She sighed, turned around. "You should know me better than that, Chat."

"Hmm. Yes I do know you better," he looked, puzzled thinking then growled. "And that is what sickens me." His teeth showed, being ready to bite. "Leave her alone, Adrien." A figure appeared, with a lightsaber.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my dear cousin. What brings you here? Couldn't handle being abducted by aliens?" Chat smirked. Liz glared at him. "For your information," she smirked, sternly, in a mocking sort of away. "Kitty." He growled. "Don't call me that!"

"I can call you, whatever I want, dearie." She smirked. He ignited his claws into position. "That alien was the love of my life. And don't. You. Dare. Lay. Single. Claw. On. Ladybug!" She snarled at the cat, wanting a fight. She went in front of Ladybug, scared, confused, and most of all heartbroken.

"Why should I?" He wagged his tail, motions his hands at the fires around him, the destruction he and Ladybug has caused. He pointed. "She created this mess. Now I intend to stop it." He glared, with a smirk.

"Over my dead body." Liz glared at the white cat. She protected Ladybug. Chat swung is staff ready to fight. "Oh, I'm going to enjoy this." He smirked, evilly. Liz smirked, back. Ladybug pleaded with Liz not to fight, but that didn't stop Liz with a good challenge. Liz flung her saber in circles in the air, then put her hands in incapacity. "M-Ladybug go! I got this."

"But-"

"GO!"

Ladybug nodded and left with her yoyo, she whirled high, inhaling out of gust. "Be safe, Liz." Then she passed out, exhausted. During the battle, Liz swings her saber with chats staff. He groaned in the process of letting his enemy get away. "You may have won this round, but I haven't lost the war." He growled, trying to do more. She glared at him, her eyes turned dragonlike. "You. Will. Never. Set. A. Foot. On. Her. Not even, Hawkmoth." She punched him in the stomach, sending him down.

"Oh, yeah." He spat out blood. "And what makes you think that?" He glared. "She may be pregnant, but that doesn't stop me from destroying her, what she cares most." Liz got caught off guard. "Yeah I know her little secret, you should tell your Bug the next time she tries to do something stupid, trying to fix me. I'll kill her in cold blood." She glared. She pushed him against the wall using the Force. She used her hands to choke him. He struggled on his breath. "You..." He gasped. "You kill me, she'll hate you." Liz scoffed and pushed him harder, causing him to whimper. "See that's where you're wrong..." She chuckled. "You're a monster, a freak is what you....are..." He coughed, from being released.

"No, Dearie, you are the monster." She bends down. "You don't deserve her, you don't deserve to have anything. You try to kill her. I'll end you, and your father on what his plan is because it isn't right. Then we'll see who the true hero that I am. Is." She gets up, slashing her sword with anger, making him bleed enough. "That's right, I know you and dearest daddy's plan. You want to go bring your mother back? Aw, well here's a news flash, she's dead, she can't come back." She glared. With her eyes still dark blue showing her dragon side. "And btw tell the world that... Kill Ice is back, and I'm sure the Flash will enjoy his old friend." Her eyes twinkled in the darkness. She chuckled, before knocking that cat out. She looked around for Ladybug, she stayed there in the dark leaving her there as the rain fell on the exhausted teenage face. Her breathing was heavily and low, but slow and steady. Liz stared at the teen in awe. She took the teen to her apartment, setting gently on the bed. "Sleep well, Marinette, for the battle is about to begin." Her normal eyes flashed Dragon-like, then back to normal.
