I'm running. I've got no choice but to hide. I'm frantically packing my things. Boxes boxes boxes. Backpack. Everything. Food. Water. Clothes. Shoes. Must run. Hide. NOW.

I'm living in the woods. I've found an old shed. Hiding. It's been a while now since my ex tried to attack me and I did what I had to do. I'm adjusting quite well despite the circumstances. Wake with the sunrise, the birds sing for me, rain cleanses me, the woods play my music, no extra noise or stress of "normal" human life. It's.. rebirth. I go into town to grab supplies at least once a month. Today is restock day. When I make it to the store I enter expecting to swiftly buy my things and leave but I run into a man who is acting like he knows me. Maybe I do know him, I'm not sure. I am friendly, talked to him for a while but as I turn to go back to my shopping, he says he "is proud of me." I am stunned, "why?" He replies, "You know what you did. He deserved it." Panic. He knows. HOW does he know. WHO is he. Cop? No.. I got to get out of here. My temples pulse and my chest flutters. I rush to buy my supplies as quickly as possible trying not to faint.
