You heart was immdiealty ensnared by the goddess whose hair you imagined smelt like vanilla. When her mouth parted to eat you wondered what her lips tasted like.
Did they feel soft? Was the taste sweet or nothing at all? You noticed the tall, tan girl next to her looking at the blonde with the same fondness you did.
"Hey Krista if we come out of this alive, lets get married." Krista reprimanded her for having a negative attitude. She made no comment on the marriage suggestion.
It made your chest wrench in a way you didn't like. Armin waved a hand on your face, "are you ok?"
You slowly turned to stare into his blue eyes, ones that much resembled hers. "Oh yeah I'm fine. Just not hungry." You pushed the bowl of soup away, Sasha's eye locking on her new target.
You strode past the table they sat at, Ymir's gaze followed you as you went to your sleeping quarters.
"Hey Krista I'll be back in a sec I just need to check on something."
"Oh sure."
You were about to close the door with a sigh when a hand jammed it open. You stumbled back from the sudden swing of the door. Ymir stood before you seeming to be a little irked.
"I've seen you make googly eyes at my Krista. I'd like you to stop it."
You furrowed your brow and didn't back down. "You don't get to tell me what to do. I'll make googly eyes at her if I want to."
Ymir simply took a few steps forward, curling her fingers around your collar and pulling you towards her. "I suggest you get rid of that tone or I'll pummel you into next week."
You smirked, "the commader wouldn't want a brawl happening before an important mission."
Ymir unfurled her fingers from your clothes. "You're right, we'll be fine if you listen to my advice you know nothing about Krista."
You rolled your eyes, "and you do?"
Ymir's brown eyes stared at you with hard intensity, lips visibly tightening as she said. "More than you think."
With that she left and slammed the door as an emphasis on her anger towards you. Or jealousy more clearly put.
You plopped onto the bed, dreaming of Krista's angelic beauty. Wishing for the love she gave to you only in your imagination.
The mission was fairly simple when commander Erwin explained who was to go where. But the three groups had been split into whoever was closest to who.
Weirdly enough you were riding beside Krista who made a vow to stay alive for Ymir. Which pissed you off but if the girl loved the tall brunette back it couldn't be helped you'd learn to move on and live with it.
But anything can go wrong in an operation involving titans. Three were approaching you and you saw her draw her blades but you grabbed her wrist before she took off.
"Wait."
"What?!" You could see the determination in her eyes to kill the devils in front of you. "I'll kill them you stay safe."
"But there's three of them you're just one person!"
"Exactly we don't need two deaths on our hands. Plus you made a promise to Ymir."
"(Y/n) stop being ridiculous!"
You dryly laughed and shot off without saying another word. In a flash you'd severed the napes of two but you already knew the 3rd would gain on you.
It's hands roughly caught your middle, it held tight causing blood to spurt from your mouth. "(Y/n)!"
She went to save you but you shouted out. "Promise you'll live on for me too! Not just exsist but live!" Krista could not get a word in when the titan chomped down on your head.
Krista ended up retreating with both horses. Seeing if she could find any survivors. Tears flying in the wind as they streamed from her eyes.
Did you seriously think she didn't notice? You had the same look Ymir did.
"Stupid." She mumbled under her breath. Finding others as she quickly wiped away the tears.
She kept her promise to Ymir but the death was still fresh in her mind. So she did the only thing she could.
"Promise you'll live on for me too! Not just exsist but live!"
