Not again! Not right now! This can't be happening! Breathe! Just breathe!

Will is the head counselor for the Apollo cabin, and lead doctor in the infirmary. Right now, he is having his third panic attack of the week. No one knows about this. Will has been able to hide them from his siblings and even Nico. But it's getting harder and harder to every time he has one.

Breathe, just breathe.

Will took a deep breath. Than another. And another. He finally calmed down and looked at his watch.

Ten minutes! That is my longest one yet!

Once he was calm, he walked out of the break room, and saw that the infirmary was still not busy. Only a few campers under three hour watch. Then they would be good to go with a few squares of ambrosia.

"Hey Will! How has your day been?" A voice asked him from across the room. Will recognized it. It was Nico.

"Good. Not too busy in here today. We still on for tonight?" Will asked as he pulled his boyfriends waist closer to his own.

"Of course, Sunshine." Nico replied as he kissed Will on the lips, loving every second of the kiss.

"Well, I better get to my cabin. I have to go shower and get cleaned up. See you later!" Will said as he gave Nico one last kiss before walking to his own cabin.

He loved Nico with all his heart. He made Will a better person. He was the love of his life. And yet, Will hadn't told him about his panic attacks. He just felt that he was so weak. Nico had been through literal hell and back, alone, and was perfectly fine. Will just sees a couple demigods pass on, and he can barely breathe. Will was not good enough for Nico. He didn't deserve to have such a great boyfriend.

<<<<TIME SKIP>>>>

Will was nervous. He didn't know why. He had been on plenty of dates with Nico before, but still always got jittery before he saw him. Maybe that was the anxiety talking. Yeah, that was it. Will was just letting his anxiety (also unknown to Nico) get in the way of his mind.

He was pulled from his thoughts when there was a knock on his cabin door. "Will? Are you ready to go?" It was Nico. Will walked over to the door, and when he answered it, he was speechless.

Nico was wearing a button up black long sleeve, with his aviator jacket on his shoulders, black ripped skinny jeans, light grey combat boots, and a black beanie that framed his facial feature perfectly.

"Nico, you look great!" Will told his him, awestruck.

"I could say the same to you," Nico replied.

Will was wearing a pair of light blue skinny jeans, a sky blue t-shirt underneath a a long-sleeved blue and yellow flannel shirt, and his yellow high top converse with yellow beanie covering his head.

Will smiled and asked, "So, where are we going? What is your grand plan?"

Nico looked at him with a smirk, and spoke, "You'll see. Its a surprise."

"You are so mean."

"You know you love it!"

Will couldn't help but smile.

When they finally arrived in their picnic spot near the woods, Will was caught breathless. Nico had set up a sweet picnic with Will's favorite foods and drinks, including Mac and Cheese with lemonade. Plus he added his own favorites, which was pasta with Alfredo sauce and black coffee.

"Nico, this is so sweet! When did you have the time to set this up?" Will asked breathlessly.

"I have my ways," he stated with a smirk on his face.

"So mysterious. This is adorable. Thank you! I love you, so much."

"I love you too, Sunshine."

As they were eating, Nico started to ask Will about the infirmary. He usually asks how his day was in the infirmary, but he has never asked so many questions.

"So, how is everyone. I heard Julia was in there for a, what, stab wound to the side?"

"Um, ya. She had gotten stabbed when sparing with another Aphrodite girl."

"And, um, what about Danielle? The Demeter girl?"

"She uh, took a tumble off the rock wall. It was a minor sprain to her ankle. She should have been discharged right about now."

With every sentence Will spoke about the infirmary, he could feel his heart beating faster, his breath growing heavier and more labored. He was on the verge of a panic attack.

Pull it together. You can't panic now.

"Oh, I heard rumors that Kayla started dating a kid from the Hermes cabin. How is that going?"

Stay calm. DON'T PANIC!

"Uh, ya they are good. I think she said it was Hannah."

His breath was more ragged. His heart was racing. He could feel himself slipping.

Keep it together!

"Cool. Is she still putting in the same amount of hours at the infirmary?" Nico asked the last question and Will couldn't hold it in anymore. He was having, yet another, panic attack.
